Sooo I just got my second copy a week ago, and have 8 villagers right now. I used the plot reset method just to make sure they don't put their houses on my paths >.> but anyways, today I started with a new character but there was no plot... so my question is, when does the 9th villager move in? The other ones always moved in 2 days later and today the plot was supposed to show up but it didn't ^^"
Anyone knows when the 9th villager moves in? I need it so that I can know when I should start plot resetting ;w;

Thank you c:

All randomized villagers (6 through 9) have a random chance of appearing everyday for about a week since the last move-in. The chances of seeing a plot increase as that week goes by. On the 7th day of that week, you have a 100% chance of seeing a plot.

Since it's only the 2nd day of this week, you have a chance of seeing a plot, but you also have a chance of not seeing it.

If you don't want to deal with a new plot right now, save on that new character you made that didn't see a plot. If you quit without saving, when you load up your mayor, you have that same chance of seeing a new plot, which could be placed over your paths. You basically have to save that "lack of plot" data.

If you want to keep resetting, you're free to do so, but just know that many of your resets will end up with no plots. You still have to do the plot reset method every day for that entire week, but eventually you'll hit a point where basically every reset ends up with a plot.
