ARGHHHH!!!! I'm so mad rn. Graham just moved out of my town two days ago and I was expecting a new villager, so I tried to make a new villager and try plot resetting for the first time and couldn't find and construction sites. I thought I must be fine and I deleted the villager I was using and went on my mayor villager. I came out of my home and I walked over the bridge to see a big ol' house plot on top of my only 3 perfect pear trees and my patch of cosmos. I even had patterns on the ground around the trees but they moved in around them. I turned off my 3Ds completely out of anger, and now I'm wondering if theres anything I can do, and why the plot didn't show up when I used a temporary villager I had just created. I'm also confused on WHY THERE, BLANCHE?! WHY?!? >:((((

Did you save the game with your mayor BEFORE 6.00 am?

Also, don't load the game after 6.00 am with any of your characters, only the new character you are using to plot reset.

Check to see you have covered the town properly!

Yeah, I did load the game with another character, but the plot wasn't there when I made the new character, so I thought it was safe :(. I'm really confused and it's no where near 6am for me :(

Perhaps they had alreay plotted the night before and you didn't see?

If nobody plotted, and you loaded and saved your game with your mayor or other permanent players before 6.00 am, and only loaded it up again with a new character after 6.00 am, then I don't know what could have gone wrong. :(

If it was a random villager move-in then there is no guarantee that they will be there each time. After Graham left, there was a chance each day that a new random villager would move in. If you created a new character, walked around and didn't see a plot, then quit without saving, it didn't save your town as it was with no new villager plotted. Then, if you loaded your mayor without saving as the new character, you once again had a chance that a new villager would appear and it sounds like that's what happened.

If you had patterns around the trees and the villager still moved in on top of them, then that usually means that you didn't have another viable spot open. Did you leave some open 3x3 spots around town and were they far enough away from cliffs, the river, PWPs, and other buildings?

Unfortunately, once you've logged on with your mayor, the game saves during Isabelle's opening sequence so Blanche will still be there no matter what you do at this point. You'll have to move her out if she's in a spot that's unacceptable.

Hey there, I don't have anything I can contribute as far as the plots go, but I did have one bit that I thought might help you in the future: One thing I do in my town is I keep at least one of every tree and a couple of every flower against my town's back fence, just in case something catastrophic like this happens out in the open. If your town is set up to have permanent structures near the back it's even better because then new villagers DEFINITELY can't land on top of your permanent supply. (For example, my town hall is near the back of my town, so I have several trees planted behind it to protect them. Once you get your perfect pears back, consider planting at least one at the back (or other edges) of your town so you'll always have a supply of them for later, just in case you ever get another inconvenient neighbor again!
