What does it mean if they don't have the blue Pentagon? Just wondering, I don't have any of those pokemon.

That means they are legit.
Nintendo explained what the marks mean. Pink face means cured Pokerus, red star means shiny, blue pentagon means legitimate. All pokemon have it if they are legitimare.

I thought the blue pentagon means that it was caught/bred in kalos? So, anything that came from pokebank wouldn't have it?
Actually, it doesn't. The symbol represents pokemon that are hacked or either caught within the Kalos region, and is not in fact a "hack checker".
There's absolutely no way to tell if some people have hacked their pokemon. I hack some of my pokemon because I simply don't have the time to commit to fully EV train my pokemon. Most hacked pokemons go undetectable, so these hacked pokemons that have been edited so flawlessly will appear exactly the same as a "legitimate" pokemon..
Saying that you want a legitimate pokemon is the same as saying that you want to find somebody that's HIV positive. There's almost no chance of you knowing at all.
Lots of misinformation in this topic. As others have said, the blue pentagon is not a confirmation that the pokemon is legit.
The pentagon means the pokemon was generated in Pokemon X/Y - which means, by definition, that it is (likely to be) legit because the 3DS is not (easily) hackable.
Pokemon uploaded from any previous game do not have the pentagon. I've uploaded mons to my Y that hail from third, fourth and fifth gen, all of them were caught ingame legitimately and none of them have the pentagon. Even events: My fifth gen Pokesuma Mewtwo does not have the pentagon, nor does my friend's TRU Arceus. Neither of them were hacks - we received them ourselves.
Good luck with your shiny hunt OP; you're unlikely to find Kalos-generated shinies of that quality. You may have to lower your standards to accept prior-generation mons.
