Pokémon Playing Pokémon B/W 2 together

Hmm that's not a bad idea. Can Sandslash learn any rock type moves like Smack Down? (Guessing it won't still be sandshrew at that level?)

I'm also considering just using Flaaffy's electric type moves on Emolga for a normal matchup. Volt switch will be not very effective on Flaaffy's after all. But it will be not effective at all on Sandslash so idk.

I believe it can, yes. I'll need to look it up for confirmation and at which level it does, but I remember seeing it somewhere in its moveset.

EDIT: Actually, I was wrong- it doesn't learn Smack Down! Sandshrew learns Rollout at level 7, but as you can only catch them at levels 19 and 20, it'll be deleted from its moveset at that point. It can learn Rock Tomb via TM, but I'm not entirely certain if it's obtainable before Elesa.

I'd say stick to Sandslash. Even if it isn't that effective against Flaaffy, the Emolga will still pull the switch off- therefore meaning that you'll have to deal with one of her other Pokemon. Sandslash isn't affected by it, therefore meaning that Emolga is stuck there.

I've beaten Team Plasma and caught my Eevee, woohoo~
Now just to explore the rest of Castelia Sewers and then I'll challenge the gym!
edit: and thanks for the advice! I'll be sure to do that. ^-^

I just beat Burgh, yay!
I was surprised how high his levels were - Leavanny was at level 26 whilst my Pok?mon were 17-20. Growlithe went from level 19 to 22 and only learnt Fire Fang after already defeating Leavanny whoops. Intimidate really helped in minimising the damage leavanny could inflict.

Also, just before the gym and in the sewers, Riolu evolved into Lucario! I think I'll trade him and Eevee obto Black 2 quick for move relearner and the grass stone because I don't want to have to wait until post game to get my leafeon haha.

So because it's struck midnight here, I decided to progress. I admit, I started a few minutes early- but long story short, I have my two new team members, Splinter the Sandslash (I trained her a bit) and Ionia the Sigilyph.

I just trained my Pokemon team to the max, hunting Audinos in Castelia Gardens for a very, very LONG time. Now all the Pokemon on my team have evolved and my team is even stronger than before for my Mono-Type Electric Nuzlocke Challenge. I haven't advanced anywhere past the gate in between Route 4 and Castelia City, but I plan to do that later tonight. Here's my updated team:

PkMn Trainer Fox

Pokemon 1:

Level 30 Ampharos (Wooly) [Electric Type]

Gender: Male

Gentle nature: Good endurance

Held Item: Quick Claw

Ability: Static (Contact with the Pokemon may cause paralysis)

Strength/Confuse Ray/ Rock Smash/ThunderPunch

Pokemon 2:

Level 30 Magneton (Sgt. Steel) [Electric/Steel Type]

Gender: Genderless

Jolly nature: Hates to lose

Held Item: Eviolite

Ability: Sturdy (It cannot be knocked out with one hit)

Mirror Shot/Flash/Spark/SonicBoom

Unfortunately, my Eevee evolved into an Espeon because I was a noob at the time and forgot to press the B button since I've never evolved an Eeevee before and was amazed by it and wondering what it would turn into, so I had to release it. :(

Now I'm all geared up and ready to advance to Route 4 tomorrow. (Btw, in case you were wondering, I won't be evolving my Magneton in Chargestone Cave. I don't like Magnezone's design plus Magneton is stronger with Eviolite equipped to it)

@Earth Wolf-Howl: Nice! What's your full team as of now?

So, are you going to get another Eevee?

Unfortunately no, I don't want to spend the time to train another one up. It would take way too long for me. Plus there will be plenty of other Electric type options throughout the rest of Unova instead of Jolteon. :)

@SpaceDandy something just occured to me: How will you get past Clay?

Emolga bro, Emolga. Except for his Excadrill who knows Rock Slide, then I will switch out to Ampharos and finish it with Rock Smash twice. I'm not too worried about Sandslash's Rollout. Other than that his Krokorok doesn't know any Rock type moves, so I can just use Ampharos's Rock Smash to finish it. It will be tough, but if I have the right coverage moves and know when to switch which Pokemon in and out, I can beat him. I've seen people do it before in my situation.

Woah, your levels are high. O_O Are you playing Challenge mode?

But so far, my team includes Leavanny (Sona, level 26), Azumarill (Duster, level 27) Magnemite (FL047.exe, level 27), Sandslash (Splinter, level 25) and Sigilyph (Ionia, level 26). I'll probably be training all of them to level 30 before tackling Elesa.

I don't think that this will be all that popular. so either today or tomorrow, probably.

I LOVE Serperior so my starter choice is obvious. I'll probably use the following pokemon

Serperior, Lucario, Umbreon, Braviary, Ampharos and Magnezone. No reason in particular, I just like them as Pok?mon lol

Snivy is my favourite as well, but I had to choose Tepig because I've never used him, and whenever I play any gen5 game I always end up with a Serprior >.<

I just started my B2, after finding it in my room 2 years later.

My team so far is Tepig, Koffing, Elekid and Lilipup.

Just beat the 2nd gym

I'm tempted to put my Black2 playthrough on hold. I bought White the other day and I feel like completing that, unlocking "hard" mode and then unovalinking it to my Black2 so it'll pose more of a challenge.

(Sad that I don't have an R4 that I could use to put Pokemon blaze black 2 on :( Those hacked roms were the bomb in terms of difficulty. :()

You dont unlock hard mode on white, you unlock it on black. You unlock easy mode on white 2.

My team atm is Servine, Flaafy and Koffing.

I just beat Roxie

FL047.exe just evolved- and at last, too! It was starting to fall behind a bit.

Anyhow- as a small update, my team aside from Splinter and Ionia are level 30 now. Splinter's level 28, and Ionia is level 27.

And, now, Elesa is defeated- and surprisingly, it's the one time I've never found the battle with her difficult! Here's my team as it stands at the end of this part.

542.png
Sona- Male- Level 30
Naive nature- Quick to Flee
Swarm
Return/Protect/Bug Bite/Razor Leaf

184.png
Duster- Male- Level 30
Adamant Nature- Somewhat of a clown
Huge Power
Return/BubbleBeam/Work Up/Dig

magneton.png
FL047.exe- Genderless- Level 30
Naive nature- Alert to sounds
Sturdy
Thunder Wave/Supersonic/ThunderShock/Mirror Shot

sandslash.png
Splinter- Female- Level 32
Hardy nature- Quick tempered
Sand Veil
Strength/Dig/Rock Tomb/Magnitude

561.png
Ionia- Female- Level 30
Hasty nature- Sturdy body (I feel like this is a pretty big contradiction)
Magic Guard
Air Cutter/Tailwind/Whirlwind/Psybeam

And there ends one of my favourite sections in the game...

Yeah, you'd need to finish Black 2 to unlock Challenge Mode. And then, I don't think you can keep the key when you restart. So you could get another Black 2 or White 2 (Black and White cannot receive any keys) to use the Challenge Key on.

Well done Earth Wolf-Howl! I used Sigilyph before, I believe on Black? It was a lot more fun and stronger than I expected it would be! I can't think of any flying types to use so I might just use one again!
I'll be evolving my Eevee into Leafeon today and going to keep playing. My levels are a bit low so I'll need to Audino-grind to defeat Elesa!

Thanks!

I used a Sigilyph temporarily myself in Y nicknamed Hedfan. However, my Pyroar filled the role of Special sweeper better, so I boxed it. However, I did enjoy using it then, and I'm definitely enjoying Ionia now.

As for flying types- Sigilyph is pretty good, though I personally think people underestimate Unfezant a little bit. It's pretty good as well.
