I know that this game doesn't support multiple islands, but what is your experience playing together with wife/husband/kids/pets or what ever your family looks like?
How does it work when you play in different sessions and how is that effecting the other players that are currently not playing? Do you feel like you help each other out, get in the way of each other or just don't really effect each other at all?
Seen a lot of people just get new switches one for each family member, only the main character is allowed to construct bridges etc, and trying to agree on a vision, not gonna happen haha, I live on my own so I can't speak from experience but seen it happen a lot.
In my family we only have 1 switch lite. I am main character who terraformed the island since its *my* personal console, but brother can play too. We do play sessions, I open the game first in the morning, do the first tasks. And then pass on the switch lite to my younger brother.
Gave him complete design choices over one big hill since there is where he placed his house to design it however he wants.
The rules are that he cant chop trees everywhere else or move placed items besides his Big hill yard. He mostly likes fishing and bug catching and designing his house. So he is content with just that.
When I get my switch back I run to see if there are places in the island that needs fixing, if not, I play a little more and close the game.
I play with my mom and brother, my mom is more addicted then I am. She mostly enjoys planting flowers/decorating, and taking mystery island trips a bunch.
I usually play first so I’ll sometimes bury items on the island for her to find I think she’ll like, since I feel bad for getting all the fossils lol.
Overall a very good experience playing with family since we all help each other out by crafting stuff the others want and such. which is one of the things I love about AC games the most
