Planning my Dream Town: Windia

Hi Everyone,

I thought it would be fun to share with you my plans for Windia. It's still a work in progress. I've managed to move in 4 villagers that I love already. The PWPs are coming along slowly. Really wish someone would suggest the trellis to me already.

In case you are wondering, I used an old excel template I found and mapped out my own town on it. It was fun to change up the colors and stuff. Definitely my fav. part about AC.

I understand what you're going through.

Last year, I created threads alerting and inviting people to check out my towns ACNLpics and Foster. (They're my second and third towns, after Applewin, which I have played since I bought the game back in August 2013 here in the United States.)

ACNLpics is a town in which the humans have museum-type homes showcasing all "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" villagers (plus special events characters in a separate house). Foster is just a town in which the northern parts give an appearance reminding one of exploring a large park (and the Plaza is located right in the center).

Planning a town can be very methodical. But, if you can have fun while doing it, and be patient (meaning it can take at least a couple months; depending specifically what you want to create and achieve), you should find that your efforts will be worth it.

Yes! Maplestory! Windia was a server. A rather newer one as I played when Maple Story was only in Beta version!

I'm not familiar with Breath of Fire town, but it sounds cool! (Gonna google it)

That's a really interesting shaped map! I can't say I've ever seen one with the river running so straight and low! Mine is very simillar, but the river runs in the upper third of the town. Best of luck with your dream town, it has a sweet name

Thank you! it's my first time playing ACNL seriously.. I had a town called Nausicaa, but I was just playing it casually and didnt think much about planning. I'm thinking completely restarting that town. :S

Wow, this is the first time I've heard Maple Story come up in conversation in a while. I played it for years before all my friends stopped playing and it just wasn't as fun without them. Your plan looks cute, good luck!

Thank you. Yes, I was completely obsessed with Maple for the longest time. Kind of reminds me of AC, but less customization and more RPG game play.

Your towns look cute, when I have time this weekend maybe I'll drop by.
