My due date is less than a week away. Because of my babies size, I may have to do an elective c-section, which hubby & I have agreed October 23 sounds nice. It'll be so nice to not feel so heavy, but I'm nervous about such a big life change.

I'm making a tablet computer stand atm (a past exam project), and the one I've finished is a shelf/paper towel holder (also a past exam project). They're both in school (and one is still mostly uncut and won't be finished for A While™), but when I get them back I'll take a photo if you'd like to see it!

I'll be real, if I didn't dislike studying biology as much as I did, I wouldn't have switched and found out how fun woodwork is lol (my brain is not fit for memorisation :^P)
 
finally healing from all the trauma of my past self!!!! finally!! i feel a lot better and i can actually do hygienic things properly. i still cant really clean my room but im working on it

I fell down on one step outside yesterday..because I wasn't paying attention. I ended up with a few scratches, but I'm ok.

The mushroom people in the Japanese movie “Attack of the Mushroom People” aren’t as little and cute as the Toads in Mario, but I wonder if they inspired the Nintendo’s whole “mushroom people” thing.

I've never heard of this movie and looked it up. The mushroom people when they're first infected look a lot like the zombies in Last of Us. Not that I'm saying either was inspired by it, but this looks really close to the zombies.

I'm not sure, but I would imagine there would still be a bit of a fishy taste to the oysters.
 
Watched The First Wives Club for the first time this weekend. My only complaint is that I haven’t seen it sooner!
 
I wanted to paint my nails before I go visit family tomorrow but my boyfriend left with the keys this morning by accident and I need to go buy polish remover... man !
 
It is both crazy and understandable at the same time how I realized my tastes in manga have changed quite a lot over the years...
I was more into magical girl manga when I was around the age of 12:

Sailor Moon
Tokyo Mew Mew
Cardcaptor Sakura
Puella Magi Madoka Magica

As I continue to be a manga reader today as an almost 25-year-old, I noticed that I am more into spy and mystery manga, these are my favorites in no particular order:

Spy x Family
Mission: Yozakura Family
Case Closed/Detective Conan
Death Note
Whoever Steals This Book

There's also the short 5-volume Your Turn to Die manga, which is mostly considered part of the horror-adventure genre based on the game of the same name, but there are some things in the game that feel more like a murder-mystery to me.

I also have an interest in some more obscure mystery-genre manga that I haven't read, but I plan to someday:
