What is an 'Anime Tourist'? I saw videos on YouTube being recommended to me that had the word plaster all over them. Seems like it's something negative.
I looked it up and got two different results. One being someone that goes to places featured in Anime to see the real vs the animated. The other being a negative term to describe someone who watches anime occasionally or isn't considered a 'true fan' of anime by sweaty basement dwellers. Depending on the context and where you saw it, you might be able to figure out what those videos were describing.

YouTube suggested to me a video of the most unsettling game overs. They were all tame, lol

I've seen more disturbing ones. I only agreed with the Majora's Mask game over, because everyone dies, including Link. Usually the Zelda games just end with Link collapsing to the ground, followed by a simple game over screen. Majora's Mask does that, too, but we all know the real game over is that moon crashing into the world.

Come to think of it, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is the only other Zelda game with a sinister game over. The monsters want to revive their master, Ganon, using the blood of Link...... and they succeed.
There's always a compilation of scary game overs. Here's the most wholesome one :D

Paul Dano has a little belly now and I love him even more. 😍 Saw a video from today where he said Spain (where he is now) has the best food in the world and he “can’t button his jacket!”

I have just discovered the Audra Winters BookTok drama and I have to say…it sounds more like she wants a business than a book. Like, to create a rival to DnD or something like that—- some kind of fantasy world game thing?? Rather than a book, because she doesn’t focus on writing much. And to hire a team of artists and even a musician?? What is the endgame here?

Also, she keeps saying she’s been writing this book for 10 years. She’s 22, so she would have started when she was…12? I’m sorry, but I don’t think the stories I wrote when I was 12 would do well, and it would be hard to translate something preteen me wrote with my adult brain.

If this is really her passion, I guess the world is her passion, rather than the writing. Crying on TikTok makes you famous, but not in the right way.

Well there is that Game of Thrones author that's been writing their book since the 1990s? and hasn't finished yet, with his latest book being 13 years in hiatus. At that point I wonder if he will ever get it done or is just milking it out for monetary reasons? Like some backer that keeps getting paid regardless of progress.

I never heard about her, but it just sounds like she loves the idea of being in the spotlight and not actually the process of creating something unique. People like her make it hard for actual artists to be taken seriously.

Yeah, this is a pretty recent situation. The issue was, she was promoting her book on TikTok to the point that it had thousands of pre-orders. Then when people received it, it was poor-quality— not just in the story, but spelling and grammar as well. Even made-up words changed throughout.

People demanded a refund, which I disagree with, as buying a book is kind of a gamble quality-wise. But now she is rewriting the book and has a Patreon where people can pay monthly to see her “rewriting process” with her creative team. She also says she needs artists to help brainstorm scenes. (But I thought you created this world ten years ago??) And why musicians? There won’t be music in the book! (She claims this is a “multimedia company” btw.)

I mean…if she really wants to improve writing, maybe she could try different stories, and step away from social media. But I can’t picture people lining up to buy this rewritten book if they didn’t like the original.

There is a working theory amongst me and my friends that when bad things happen to me, they happen in threes. Its been years and I'm still waiting for the theory to be wrong hrmmmhhmhmrmmmm

He turned 77 yesterday. With two Game of Thrones books left to be written I don't think he's actually going to finish the series.

I'd suspect it's writers block. At this point he's probably lost interest in the books and his income is coming from TV royalties anyways.

I never followed his books nor the series so I'm not heavily invested in any of it. But it makes sense that if he's getting paid regardless if he finishes or not why bother. I'm sure there's artist block, but there's also probably a lack of motivation to do anything when the flow of money is steady enough.

Pokemon random thoughts:

Gen 3 has a lot of gym leaders who cheat. But like the major one I got beef with is Winona and her illegal Altaria; like you cheated to evolve your Swalbu, it has dragon dance which can only be learnt at LV 40, no tms or tutors or egg moves here and EARTHQUAKE
And you don't have much wiggle room with finding pokemon that counter it, def if you're doing a nuzlocke. Don't feel its much talked about when it's her best pokemon on the team.

It would be fun ngl. I don't know if they did it every year since I only really became super active last year. But I loved the little Christmas jingle that played on it. ❤️
There's candy cane collectibles going back to 2016 (maybe even 2015?) so it's been happening annually since then.. Would be sad for this year to be skipped 😞
And yeah the jingle is really cute!

I was surprised to learn that Diana Ross and Gene Simmons dated for a few years…and that Cher dated both Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer??
Tom Cruise and Cher was the weirdest pairing ever.. I feel like Cher would absolutely have had zero time for his scientologist shenanigans

This is a stupid. I don't do Harry Potter and Yes, I do have a Facebook account; but I don't use it. Sorry I don't fit the stereotype puzzle.
Also, they got the Generational lines all wrong.

Yeah....I'm a stereotype. Says a test from some whack company whose 'professionals' might be two monkeys in a lab coat.

harlequins are sooooo cool. ive always wanted to know what life would be like as a harlequin.
speaking of, does anymore know where i could get some harlequin figures/harlequin themed stuff?? i would try thrift stores but my mom is pretty avoidant of those and wont let me go to thrift stores.

Donna looks so adorable!
Thanks! Sometimes I see her walking through the woods. It’s interesting to see her climb over big branches.

I originally named her Don Rickles since she kinda looks like the comedian, but after finding out she was female (based on eye color), I changed it to Donna Rickles. (But she’s mostly just Donna.)

Brian Wilson was handsome — a lot of us think that. BUT there’s not enough love for Carl, who was also a hottie. Whether Carl was bearded or clean-shaven, he looked good; he also had a kind look in his eyes, if that makes sense.

A lot of people want to create an alternative to DnD due to actions the current rights holders have taken with the IP.
