I have been meaning to work on this self-insert fanfiction story I have on WattPad now that I am no longer working on Valentine's Day stuff. The thing is, I feel much more motivated to work on my (possible) final draft for a book I intend to publish later on down the road. Ah well, I guess this is better than not having motivation altogether. 🤷‍♀️
 
Just thinking about what to spend my last 10 cupid coins on. Should I get another balloon or more raffle tickets? I'm thinking I'll get a balloon, but at the same time I also want to have more of a chance at the raffles. But if I use all my coins on the tickets, I'll probably regret not having the concrete knowledge that I'll actually get a collectible like I would if I get a balloon. Hopefully I'll have come to a decision before the shop stops selling this event's stuff.
 
I'm fairly upset about Nintendo removing Gold Points. Each time you bought a digital game, you got points and could save up for a discount or a free game.

I heavily took advantage of this and got some really nice stuff, such as the Dragon Quest 3 remake.

Honestly, with the incentive gone, this just pushes me away from wanting to buy anything else for the remainder of the switch lifespan.

That's really sad. Though unlikely, maybe they'll start having a sale on older games at some point. If they are gonna start selling games at $70USD, I think people will probably be more picky about what Nintendo games they are going to pick up.

I still think about that post you made at one time (think it was in this thread maybe?) where you said, "you can't fight hate/violence with more hate/violence, it just doesn't work." It's a really good quote, actually. You generally make pretty good posts, but that one will always stick with me.

Just got an Instagram ad for CPAC. “You’re invited to CPAC in DC!” Um, excuse me?? I follow a bunch of drag queens…you really think I’m coming to this bland cookout?

I wonder if part of the reason why I don't really enjoy reading as much as others do, is because I don't have an internal monologue when I read. I don't hear a voice in my head, it's pretty much silence. that makes it more difficult to process words, and thus makes reading less enjoyable.

for me, I find it tedious. I don’t know if it’s an ADHD (not diagnosed, but highly suspect that I have it) thing, but I do struggle to do things for extended periods of time that I find tedious.
 
People will eat up propaganda like moths to a flame.

If you can spot bias or simply think independently, your already doing better than a vast majority.

E.G

There's rhetoric quickly spreading that Ukraine started the war with Russia. This is being loudly parroted even though it's false and dangerous.
 
What was I thinking watching MonsterQuest, and actually expecting them to catch Bigfoot or whatever?! 😭😂

Yes, because people these days don't have critical thinking skills or bother to do their own research, and simply agree with what others say without looking into it themselves. These are things I learned while in university, and it's a large contributor to why the world is the way it is today. Imagine thinking that a nation that's fighting for its right to exist started a war with a much bigger nation. :rolleyes:
 
I would often have a hard time telling blue eyes apart from grey eyes, specifically in photos and videos. Like I would lowkey get confused as to whether someone's eyes are blue or grey unless I look very closely.
 
I used to make comic books when I was little, and lately I've been thinking about returning to that. The problem is that I get very concerned with how good the panel should look. When I'm working on other art pieces I don't have to worry about that, but somehow with comics, I'm convinced it's very important I guess. I also overthink how the panels should be arranged for the same reason.

I really hope I can get out of that mindset soon, because I have a great story in mind that would work best in this format.
 
If I ran a restaurant (hopefully I will get to do so before I die), there will be no robot workers. AI employees would save me money, but humans need money to get a decent living. That, and all or mostly robot workers would make the restaurant more of a lonely place.

Sometimes, it would be better to make the moral decision, even if it reels in less money or costs more money. For instance, coal and oil are more cost-effective as energy resources than solar and wind, but we don’t need anymore carbon emissions.
