Another funny thing about the Sims…is the way “jobs” are set up. I was watching Markiplier play Sims 4 once and his character was a veterinarian, but since he couldn’t figure out what to do, he got fired and became a “social media star.” It was funny because the next day, it said his Sims was starting the social media job, and all they did was take selfies all day lol. Like…it’s not that easy to become an influencer.

I can imagine her cooking inside her Louisiana-themed kitchen since she is from Louisiana. Yet she can cook anything - Thai food, Indian food, Chinese food, French food, Italian food, any cuisine you can think.

That argument is rather mean-spirited. Additionally, while conservatives have been favoring reversal of progresses, the “Gulf of America” isn’t going backwards, but rather going forwards in the wrong direction.

Oh, and did you know that all US states that have access to the gulf were once part of the Confederacy? Not that it’s relevant, but I wanted to throw that in.

That's unfortunately how many of these arguments go. Some people feel a need to be contrary and that seems to be the base that MAGA attracts. 'I won't get that vaccine' 'I'm not a woke snowflake' 'This policy will stick it to the liberals'.

Ironically, this is an attempt to be different and anti-establishment that creates some of the least independent thinking. You aren't "anti-woke", you're just parroting hateful rhetoric from your political base. 'I'm not getting the vaccine because the government wants me to do that' equally makes you a follower if you haven't decided with personal thought or research. It's just being a follower in a different direction.

I tried to word this as...nicely as I could without insulting anybody. I know this isn't the place for politics so I'll steer away.

I'm not sure what the point is in renaming it. Can anyone even rename that? Who owns it to begin with? I feel like I should know at least that. I don't remember learning who owns what water territories when I was in school. I remember very brief discussion about how some countries are claiming a little more water territory than they had before at the time.

Any who, my guess is that maybe it is some type of power move, but again I don't see how that does anything to or for anything/one. Can that area even be drilled (flashbacks to the bp oil spill)? Can artificial islands be built there? Can anymore control surveillance of trade be done there? Does anyone want to do any of these ideas that I can think of for water territory? Are there other ideas that can be done with water territory?

Id guess not, but idk.
 
A Shih Tzu won “Best in Toy Group” last night on the Westminster Dog Show. 🙌 As a Shih Tzu owner, I am biased, but YES!

My only thing is…Shih Tzus are VERY stubborn. I’m amazed they are even able to put a bow in its hair for the show. Mine would never…! 😭
 
what is that pencil that looks like this but it doesnt. i don’t even know if it’s pentel brand. it has a twist eraser and it has a side button, too, but it’s maybe more cylindrical in shape. the grip looks different—it’s kinda segmented. i think the tube is mostly clear, too. the grip and the part near the eraser and the side button are what’s colored. i’ve seen them in black, green, blue, purple.. i was obsessed with them when i was a kid

I keep thinking to myself "Why do bad things always have to happen to me?" and then I tell myself that life isn't fair and its always going throw roadblocks at you. There are things that are happened that are out of your control and there is not much you can do it about it. The only way to get around it is to handle it yourself and not always rely on others to do everything for you. I guess from what I learned from last year is that when you're down so much you just have to keep pushing through. Just shut your brain off and keep on going no matter how painful and stressful it is.
 
I'm having fun seeing what crafts, collages, etc. people come up with for the events. Wanted to participate myself but seasonal feel bads won't let me. It's okay though, I'm happy seeing everyone's creativity and artistry in the threads. 🥰💖
 
Man, I was a real piece of work back in the day! If I went back in time and saw myself posting what I posted, I boot myself in the butt. Bad, Psy....BAD!!! >:|
 
I just realized after posting on @S.J. ‘s wall how much what I said sounded like what Maruki in Persona 5 Royal; I even “heard” it in Billy’s voice lol.

I really miss Billy and his streams and VOS. He was so hilarious and really kind.

I need to get back to finishing my playthrough. So much stuff I want to do but my attention and focus can handle only one thing 😅.
