I'm making a lily patch infront of my house and can't think of a second colour. All I have is:
pink lily (gap) pink lily (gap).. and so on. Pink lily and what?! Please think of another colour for me xC
Me personally, I would do pink and white lilies, but that's a bit overdone (the pink and white color scheme at least) so if you want something sort of different, orange lilies would be really pretty as well! c:
In my newest town I placed pink lilies with the white cosmos.
Along the pathway I placed Pink lily, white cosmos, pink lily and white violet. Repeated. It looks really pretty. It also helps when you don't have a lot of pink lilies. I have extra towns and just finished the long pathway.
The pink and orange lilies look nice together too.
Depends on the mood you're going for. For something cute and pastelly, go with pink and white or pink and yellow.mif you want something brighter, go with pink and red or pink and orange. For something bold and cool, go with pink and black.
IMO they all look great together!
If only there were purple lillies, pink and purples is a very viable colour combination. I'd suggest orange, seems a little bit left field but I quite like the way it looks. Whatever floats your boat though, it's your town that you have to live with after all.
I think tou should go with pink and white lilies because I have seen other people do that in their towns and it looks really pretty. It gives this really light and delicate feel to the town if that is what you are trying to go for. Or maybe just experiment with different hybrids and see what ones look the best to you.
