Reminds me of a comic I saw depicting a woman lamenting the lack of 'nice' men in the world, as her male 'friend' (presumably the comic artist himself) listens. In subsequent scenes, the male tries to gain her affection, to no avail, and she instead falls into the arms of the biggest a-hole out there, while the male looks on with increasing anger, eventually throwing his arms up in exasperation at what he sees as the woman's hypocrisy.Boop <3
Man, I had the greatest laugh today. I got a serious "nice guy" in my inbox on one of my tumblr sub-blogs. It was the funniest thing I have ever read. I'm baffled that there are real men in this world who think that "being nice" makes them entitled to a women's affection, intimacy, and beyond. And that being her friend is worth nothing if he doesn't "achieve" that status.

Never mind that if the male was really her friend, you would think he would be concerned with looking out for her (e.g., if the guy she hooks up with is really the world's greatest a-hole, perhaps you should let her know), rather than thrashing about for failing to 'win' her.
The 'protagonist' of that comic did not seem that nice of a guy to me.
