Pinging on Holidays/Events?

So today i heard from Maple that Whitney was Planning to move D: I tried to talk to her, save and quit and try again but she isnt pinging! Since today (25th) is weeding day.. Is that the reason why she isnt pinging? Do i hav to TT the next day for her to ping?

Once the event is over you should be able to get the villagers to ping as normal. I believe I read that weeding day ends at 7:00 pm. Try to engage her after that time. good luck.

Today Becky told me Flora was planning to move and it was after 7pm that Flora pinged about moving.

yeah they don't ping during the event.
