Pinging on Easter?

Okay so two of my villagers informed me today that one of my villagers is thinking about moving. I've been doing the diving trick for awhile now and no one is pinging me. No one has pinged me all day. Do they just not ping on Easter? If so, is there a certain time at night when Zipper will go away and I can save my child from leaving?

Unfortunately no, I think this is the case for all event days apart from bug-off and the fishing tourney. I didn't actually know easter was so long until I made a thread about it questioning why Zipper T. Bunny was out so late LOL. I honestly have no idea though, I guess it gives the late players a chance to earn more of the egg set or try to get more eggs which is reasonable, but ending at 6AM isn't all that reasonable. I tried to do mayoral work with Isabelle just recently it's 03:39AM here currently thinking the festival might be over, and nope it wasn't. Which is really annoying because I want to remove a public work in front of my house so I can upgrade the train station. I mean yeah it is good to have fun once in a while, but I don't see how taking a moment out of Isabelle's day to do mayoral work is the mayor not having fun, she acts like we stay in there all day LOL.

I know what you feel. Literally everyone in my town told me that Cheri was thinking of moving out and I couldn't get her to ping me, so I just stopped talking to them because they only brought up that subject, lol. Luckily, today she pinged me and I told her to stay, so problem solved.

Yeah, most holidays like Bunny Day and Festival you won't get any move notices. Sucks, but that's why they at least give you 5 days to work with.
