love the new terraformed space & the way you used the star fragments + moons aaaah can't wait to stay updated on how the reno goes... i'm not sure if you're making different themed stalls or all the same stall but i have seen some fortune telling stalls around which is realllyyy freakin cute (katrina please come back lolol)

wade is seriously full of surprises i love him so much im loving having him on my island! and thank you!! i saw pictures somewhere (i forget where) of someone using moons and nova lights around their museum and i thought it was really beautiful. i knew i wanted to incorporate something star-light, as a tribute to celeste. thought her brother's museum was a good place to do it
thank you thank you!! and yeah im making 10 themed stalls (why do i do this to myself feisdfjskd) i'll def think about a fortune telling stall! i miss katrina odsjwijslkdd so far the updates have not disappointed me so i hope they do bring her back this year!

no journal today, i spent literally all day doing trades to get things for my little humble market, it's much more trading intensive than i thought it would be ive been running around trading like a chicken with their head cut off honestly oiedsjlksdsdk and writing an entry wouldve overwhelmed me
BUT
my new museum area is 70% finished, my new campsite is 100% finished, and my little market is 60% finished... so i'm almost there and i'm super excited to share

happenings:
I didn't post yesterday because i was spending so much time terraforming and trading and decorating, but today im gonna upload a bunch of progress pics of my new areas and im honestly kinda excited to share them so far
the areas arent fully grown in yet as far as bushes and such but, these pics are pretty closed to finished product. first i'm gonna post the couple of screenies i have from yesterday.-i got my fourth jacob's ladder yesterday! i still havent really thought of much of anywhere worthy to put them tbh
-caught hazel snoozing, as she usually is. and listened to Animal City with Chief for a bit yesterday as well as he munched on a sandwich

Now to the landscaping progress!!
-museum area: about 70% done. needs landscaping around the waterfalls, needs pathing
>> the right side of the museum area bleeds into the left side of the campsite area, and i kind of like it this way
-campsite area: 90% complete, i don't have room for too much else, but someone i feel as if something's missing. i'm happy with it, but it doesnt feel 100% complete to me. thoughts and ideas welcome!
-redd's market: 60% done, needs two more stalls (i have them just unsure of how to theme them yet. so far i have tailor/accessories, boba, fishing/bait/tackle, gardening (will decorate with fruit, flower bag, maybe watering can), popcorn and cotton candy (unsure of how ill decorate the stall itself tbh), pastries & coffee, fortune telling turtle, and honey.) and needs more misc furniture and lighting

-oh, and i did make another do-rag outfit! i use this as my "work" outfit to use while i'm landscaping and terraforming and such. she cute or whateva! (does anyone else put socks on your character even if you cant see them so u dont feel weird making them go barefoot inside shoes or is that just me eoisdhjklfs)

im not quite sure what would it well with the campsite - maybe some rocks or rock pattern of sort? since it looks like quite a natural terrain but im also kinda a terrible decorator so im sure you will figure something out with your style :')

ahhhh thank you! i really love how the moons look around the museum, i think it's so fitting
and no it's the sweater tank dress! but she wears it more than her red track suit she comes with which im so glad of bc she looks adorable like this

-first i have a couple of screenshots from playing late at night last night, after i had already posted my daily journal for the day :'^)
-i got to experience Wade in pjs and oh my god it's adorable. also his cute little ramblings.... what is snowsquatch... it's may??? LOL
-a convo between julian and chief.... poor chief..

-in a classic honeydew fashion, chevre sat directly in front of a chair, facing the chair... eating her donut. bc thats her right i guess. (side note check out @alpacac's journal it's so cute and her villagers do this all the time it's precious ielsdjkbfssfjkd, thought of tammy and henry when chevre did this LOL)
-and my bf, who i havent gotten to see since first week of march (
) visited last night and checked out some of my new areas! he also caught two catfish and i have yet to catch any for some reason smh

-and onto today's content! i got my very first gold rose!! i'm confused, though. i watered my black roses w a gold can a couple of days ago, and certainly not yesterday at all. yet i got gold roses this morning after the rain. do you... only have to water black roses once with a gold can to make them able to produce golden roses? do black roses always have a tiny chance of breeding gold roses and the gold watering can just increases the chances? how the heck did i breed gold roses this morning??? LOL
-and kiki, fittingly, gave me a gold rose wreath right after i took this picture! just queen things.
-and we've got.... lots of chief content today so if you like chief this is the journal post for you LOL. some more words of wisdom:

and that concludes my entry for the day! ive been helping paint a room in the house, so i havent had much time to play, so i havent been wanting to spend it trading for items to finish decorating the market
so i'll finish the market this weekend hopefully so i can post proper after pictures of everything! <3

About the gold rose thing, I'm also pretty lost since I watered my black roses with a gold can a while back and it produced 1 gold rose. My golden can has since broken so I've been watering with a regular one, and very recently a gold rose just came up out of nowhere? It was also 3 tiles away from the first golden rose so it couldn't have been duplicated...they're a mystery.

No proper journal entry today, i'll probably be doing big posts every other day (unless i just really really have content) pretty often. i'm just trying to make sure not to put pressure on myself to get content to post, just letting the days progress naturally. tomorrow i'll be posting finalized pictures of the museum, campsite, and market areas!

sidenote, been debating letting go of two residents to move in Winnie and Genji, because I want them both on my island so so so badly, but i've grown so attached to everyone, that idk who i'd be willing to let move may switch winnie out with apple, peppy for peppy. but as for genji, im debating letting hazel go. the thought makes me sad, though. to let apple and hazel go. luckily i do have both of their amiibo cards, so i could get them back whenever,.. idk, i'm very torn! all i know is how badly i wish i had winnie and genji on my island, and i have their amiibos so the opportunity is there. i just dont know what to do LOL thoughts welcome

you may have noticed wesijflksds but im taking a smol hiatus from journaling for a few days.
i'm kind of a tunnel visioned individual, and i'm on a desperate hunt for my dream collectibles.
i found one of them with the perfect date, but im pretty far off my funds goal
, so i've been grinding some tbt through selling some items and etc, and ive got some school assignments i need to grind out on top of seeing my partner in a week, the journal would be too much on my plate.
but pillow has some new residents: Winnie and Genji!!
and I'm really excited to be able to share a bunch of cute screenshots and videos and just general footage of happenings on pillow while i spend time trying to get my funds up for my dream collectible and get to know pillow's new residents <3
I also received some new commissioned art, featured in my signature from tbt user icky, and it looks beautiful!
so anyway, i'll be back on top of things in about 2 weeks! and i may post a stray picture here and there, bc i do miss journaling

and omg yeah i was so stressed ab that. i guess bc i accidentally skipped the "plot sold" day for him it bugged, and usually it fixes when you scan a new resident in but the bug just... persisted for another resident for whatever reason. i moved Winnie into the bugged plot and her interior replaced Hazel's interior!! And Genji replaced Apple
who im gonna miss so much, she was in my initial 5 villagers and i regret not doing a little harvey photo shoot like you did for henry, but i was so stressed and burnt out from trying to fix the glitch i just didnt make the timebut winnie and genji are both completely normal on my island now and im excited to get to know them!
