We all know that Nintendo was making a Pikmin for wii. But also, they remaking some gcn games for the wii. Could Nintendo have tricked us and made us think they were making a Pikmin 3, when it was really Pikmin 1 for Wii?
Why would they remake OLD gcn games for wii? That's just pointless, especially when the wii's just a gcn anyway.
I thought they were only porting games they were developing for gcn when wii came out like twilight princess... no?
Anyways either way I still want it lol. Pikmin 3 ftw.
They are making a remake because IMO the Pikmin series in general didn't get much attention and sells as Nintendo intended it to. Also many people didn't even who Olimar was when he was announced for Super Smash Bros Brawl. I own both Pikmin 1 and 2 for the GCN, so I see no point in buying the ports for the Wii.
I only have pikmin 2, but I'd get the rerelease on Wii. At least the gameplay should be upgraded from the GCN version, because it took forever to kill enemies in Pikmin 1 compared to Pikmin 2.
