Why do people hate Pietro?!?!?! I get it he's a clown and people haven't gotten over the movie IT, but come on it's 2015!! Pietro is awesome!! I will someday have him in my town and will protect him from the anti clown people!! I have yet to hear a legitimate reason to hate pietro!

Some people just really despise clowns/have a fear of them, hence the distaste in Pietro.
In my opinion, he's alright. I like his unique colourful appearance and I really don't mind him.

I'd like him more if he wasn't a smug. but I think he's cute, yeah.
but I can understand that people who dislike/are afraid of clowns may not like him. seems like a valid enough reason to me. :/
if I can dislike Marshal because his face irritates me, people can dislike Pietro because he's a clown sheep. :y

I had him and didn't like him. I'm not that into sheep, and also, I was going for a "natural" town where the animals were colors you actually find in nature. Like browns, beiges, etc. I know, I know, I'm boring, but he was too colorful for my town, so he had to go. (So did Julian, lol, he made someone really happy when he was adopted.)

I wouldn't have him in my town because I'm not a huge fan of smugs and Marshal is more than enough, but I'm not scared of him. I think he's a really novel villager. And his colors are pretty awesome.

I love Pietro! He's one of my dreamies! Unfortunately, when I had him earlier in the game he move DIRECTLY in front of my house and had to be voided :'c

I get they were going for like happy, rainbow, clown sheep and I approve of thinking outside the box... but he looks like a scary clown! I think he would be less creepy as a lazy villager... but smug makes me think he is trying to get away with something, like murdering me.... no thanks!

Clowns are the cause of nightmares and seeing them leads to severe depression and social withdrawal. Clowns of all kinds should be banned from society.

I'd definitely let pietro in my town! I currently have two smugs (Julian and Zell) though... If Zell didn't automatically move into a good spot in my town plus the fact that I like deers, I would've taken pietro as my second smug c:

I don't hate him. In fact, he has an amazing colour theme throughout his house!...and body, of course. I do have a fear of clowns, yeah I really DISLIKE clowns...But Pietro doesn't seem scare me...;3

I agree with this. I think if he was a lazy personality I would like him more. Im not afraid of clowns myself, but I think the snug personality is what get me about him.

Just because I have a fear of clowns doesn't mean I hate Pietro. I actually adore Pietro, he's so cute and I love his rainbow theme. It really suits him. I think it's because he's a video game character and video character clowns that don't look too clownish don't really scare me, overall. But that's just how I see it, then again, my fear isn't "that" strong.

Hate is a strong word to use. >.>
