Picking who moves in question!

Ok, so I am expecting someone new to move in tomorrow, as I have 8 villagers. I know the whole, make a new character and stuff. My question is, do you think, if I kept at it, I could get Julian to move in or no?

It's possible he could move in. Just good luck xD Might take hours and hours if he still doesn't move in.

When doing the reset trick, it picks 2 random personalities (pretty sure) before you start the game at all. Only villagers from those 2 personalities will show up at all, so it can be that only peppy and normal villagers will show up. The game tries to make at least 1 of those 2 personalities something that you don't have yet. So if you don't have a peppy, there's a pretty good chance you'll be getting some peppies

I've also heard that it's only picking from a handful of villagers from the 2 personalities. I dunno, but I haven't seen any confirmation on that

So, if you don't have a smug character yet, it's possible that you might be able to reset for Julian. If you do have one... I guess it's going to much harder to reset for him

I have actually found that you only get 1 personality type each day, even if you keep resetting that day you will keep getting peppy for example, if you want a different personality then you will have to wait until there is no plot while resetting, save and then TT to the next day. If you already have a villager with the personality you are looking for in your town you will find it much harder to get that personality to show up.

Is it really 1? I haven't actually tested it myself, but I saw the results of someone else and they got 1-2 different personalities. They had like a long chart of their results

I have four people so I can't test this, But say Hopper with a Cranky personality just moved out..
Even if he was your LAST Cranky villager, you WILL NOT get another Cranky villager through this method.

They said the last type to leave CAN NOT be the next type to come.
That can probably be overridden by convincing them to leave another town.
