Ah, yes, I have that problem, but I mostly pick up shells because I'm so used to selling them. It's something I will continue to do because I will be starting a new save file soon, and I won't be selling my town. I did that in my sister's town, and it just feels wrong to start over with millions of Bells. I'd rather earn them myself.
