So if a villager were pinging you to give you a photo, but for whatever reason you couldn’t get it (like you were talking to another villager and they left after a while or you didn’t have space), do you still ever get the chance to get it again?

Do they not just mail it to you if you don't have space in your inventory? I remember that being the case, but I'm not entirely sure.
