Hi everyone!

I thought it would be fun for everyone who likes to take pictures, to share them here.
It could be a photo you really like and made with your phone, or a completely pro- photo you made with a DSLR.

I'm glad there's finally a thread like this. I really like your image, those are some interesting looking flowers. What type are they?

I think this is my favourite image, but maybe I just liked the cat. There's no real story behind the image the cat was just adorable and wouldn't leave me alone. I took a lot of images of them but I think this is my favourite of the lot. ( I just realised I took loads of images of this cat but only posted 3 on my blog. ^^; )

I actually don't know anything about that camera that I used to take those pictures. They were all taken at school or on a field trip using the school's camera. I have my own DSLR now but I haven't taken it out to take pictures yet. My lenses have vibration reduction and I also have a tripod for stabilization.

I have one but its super short and I can hardly use it, so I use my hands
I'm sorry I know like nothing about cameras ect.

You shouldn't feel sorry. You don't have to be an expert to make a beautiful picture. For me, the most important thing, is to make sure that whatever you feel while looking at the object you take a picture of, the person looking at that picture, should be able to feel the same feeling.

Then it doesn't matter (to me) if all the technical details are as they should be. It's all about getting that one, special moment on photo, so you can share that special moment with someone else. :)

Just have fun with your camera. Even if it's a phone. People think expensive camera's will make better pictures. but that just simply not true. The photographer makes the pictures.

It's a gemstone laying in a bathtub. I've put the torch (light) on it. And this was the result ^^
Just got a bit creative haha. I love when people have no clue as to what they're looking at.

Ah, well that clears that up, haha. That's an original idea, I've never heard of anyone doing something like that before. :)
 
 
I've been into photography for quite a while, and am even featured on Getty Images.
Here's my instagram... I do like dark edits, but my greatest love is macrophotography. I adore taking images of snowflakes. <3

It took me a very long time to be comfortable to share what I do, until a couple of pro photographers, my husband and a lead singer of a band I adore gave me encouragement.
