Phineas not coming?

So it's been a while since I've gotten a badge from Phineas, and there are a few badges that I am pretty confident that I should have received by now. These include the amateur turnip trader and the village of honor badge. Has this happened to anyone else too? And if someone could tell me whats wrong too that'd be great.

If I remember correctly, he only shows up on days where the weather will stay sunny and it won't rain. If it's been cloudy/rainy in your town, he won't be there.

I don't know what the date is in your town, but I think he also won't show up during special events and on holidays.

do you time travel? in my experience it seems like he doesnt show up when i'm time travelling a lot. that may be coincidence though.

If Katie, Joan, Saharah, or any other wandering visitor, are in town Phineas won't visit even if Booker or Cooper tell you he's there.

Yes I do time travel often, but even when I got my last badge a while ago, I time traveled too.

The other special villagers do affect him turning up, in my experience at least.
But sometimes he's just hidden well....I was expecting a hosting badge and he wasn't showing up, even when it was a clear day. Anyway, I was using the microphone to find a villagers and it couldn't have sounded right and Phineas ended up answering! Maybe try that too

The megaphone has worked for me too. He likes to hide really well.

I've had him show up during events. At the fish off and fireworks show he was walking around. All 3 players got the bug badge after getting the dung beetle.
He showed up while Saharah was in town. Bought the carpeting and than he appeared yesterday.

Also I've had him show up when it was overcast and about to rain. I have the picture saved on my twitter page using my user name here. It was on Miiverse but they updated the board and it's gone.

Do you mean the Sundays in August when they have evening fireworks shows? I think I got a badge on one of those days last year, too, come to think of it. Hmm...
