Personalities in your town

I'm curious about town with themes or pure dreamies. What are the personality variations in their town. Finding the balance between your fave animals based on appearance/personality sounds easier than done. Seeing as the popular and cutest villagers are usually the same personalities tbh.

2 Smugs
1 Uchi
1 Normal
1 Lazy
1 Cranky
1 Snooty
1 Jock

I'm planning to adopt dreamies. I want Apple, but she's a peppy too & I want to let go of Shari (but not until I get the picnic blanket suggestion.)
Let's say Shari leaves leaving the 10th spot open, would the game force me an Uchi villager? Or it's always an Uchi camping from then on?

There's prob a thread about this, but I don't want to bump very old topics.

My balance turned out exactly like yours did. I'm good with it as is, since at least one of each personality is needed to unlock every possible pwp. I'm not planning on letting anyone go, though.
As for your questions, I expect the game chooses new villagers about as randomly as the software developers could manage to code it to do

Many villagers with cranky personalities because they fit the theme but they are villagers that I like.

As for your question... Whatever personality type you don't have will show up in a random plot, but any villager can be in the campsite. However, since you have 9 open, only villagers will appear in campsite to adopt. You won't get any random plots unless adopted or from someone's void.

Okay good, thanks for the answer! I feel the same way about pwp.
Maybe the game just force the personality type during the start of initial villagers or less than 9.

I try to have at least one of each personality in town but at the moment I'm missing a normal and I have one too many lazies. I'll probably try and even it out again. I usually choose my villagers based on their houses rather than their looks/species. So if I'm missing a personality in town, I always jump on aforestlife's house exterior list to see who from that personality might look nice in my town

I have a balance in every town except for a few that do not have smugs. I usually only keep smugs if I want the PWP's they offer. Or if they are Pietro because he rocks my world and is my spirit animal. But in some towns, I have three jocks, peppies , lazies and crankies. Usually two snooties because I adore them. And normally, one sweetie. Their conversation seems the most redundant to me. Only one town has two uchi girls and that's my all deer town of Shika. But I have a pretty even balance based on which villagers I love and which ones snuck in and made me love them

I like all the personalities so I usually have 1 of each and then fill the last 2 slots with a peppy and lazy.

I don’t think the game forces any personality onto you. It’s always been random from what I can tell.

For my towns I try not to have any jocks because sports are dumb to me lol I do have coach that I ended up getting from my best friend and I’ve grown to love him so he sticks around but in other towns there’s no jocks.

I also just can’t have more than 1 normal villager per town. They are so sweet and cute most of the time, but they get very dull and boring very quick.

Ultimately, I like uchi’s, snooty’s, crankies, and I gotta have a lazy too. The normal, smug, and peppy villagers are just too nice and bland, so it’s kinda boring.

I won’t move a smug or preppy in unless they are just too darn cute not to have. Like Pietro! He’s a smug but I gotta have him because he’s a freaking clown sheep!! That’s just amazing so he’s gotta be there.

Mitzi, who was my only normal villager, moved out. I want to have all of the personality types for now, for maximum PWP potential, but once I get all the peppy, normal, and jock pwps, I want to have my town be full of uchi, snooty, lazy, cranky, and smug villagers.

I look at every personality's villager list and choose 8 of my villagers this way and then for 9th and 10th villagers I choose either 1 normal 1 lazy or 1 normal 1 smug. For some reason having more than one cranky, jock, snooty, uchi villager bothers me a lot when I talk to them. I guess it's because this personalities feels less bland to me

I have one of each with an extra lazy and normal. I like the normal villagers because they?re so cute but they all say the same things and act the same, my other villagers with same personalities still act differently so I?ve been getting frustrated with the normals
