perplexed on my villagers

so i had this sudden idea to make my town full of deer since i love the species so much and i thought it would be cool to just have a town full of them!

however, my current villagers were all purchased from this website and i don’t really want my tbt or their time gone to waste...

i don’t really want to reset either because i have a lot of money and progress on this town and i don’t want to have to obtain those again.

i have no idea what to do so i’d love some advice haha.

Perhaps you could buy another copy of the game? I did that since I didn't want to reset.

I second the idea of buying a second copy. The game isn't too expensive now and it's fun to try out something new in a different town. That's what I did and I don't regret it at all.

yeah, i agree with the other comments. it's pretty cheap nowadays, and it's easy to organize, as long as you write down the name of your town on the game chip with a permanent marker.
(also, just speaking from my own worries that i had about doing this myself, having two game cards of the same game on one 3ds won't corrupt your save files xD)

I'll be the fourth to agree that getting different copies of the game would definitely help solve your problem I'm thinking of getting myself another catridge because my main town is in the original New Leaf catridge and the one I'll be getting is the New Leaf Welcome Amiibo catridge for collection sake

gonna chime in to also suggest getting another copy - like already mentioned, it’s pretty cheap and it’ll help a lot! i had 3 copies of new leaf which helped me implement more ideas than i could’ve with just one town ;w;

Buy another copy, it’s better to buy another if you want another town with different villagers.
