Perfect Town Glitch?

Every since I updated Isabelle is telling me my town is underdeveloped but I have the max # of PWPs. I got the gold watering can like 2 years ago but I wish i could still grow Jacobs Ladders... Anyone know a fix for this?

That's really strange. I talked to Isabelle today and she told me that my villagers are complaining about the weeds and garbage, even though I have the Keep your town Beautiful ordinance in effect, which prevents weeds from growing. I do have a couple items lying on the ground, which might count as trash, but I know I had a perfect town before the update by just having a lot of flowers. Did they change it so that having too much flowers are a bad thing like how you can't have too many trees?

I'm having a similar problem. My town has been in perfect status for months but I haven't had any more Jacob's ladders pop up since the update. Not sure if they're related but it's been bugging me.

Pretty sure any items on the ground count as trash, so that might be inhibiting your ability to get a Perfect Town status. It was that way before the update.

I had the same problem. Seems like they changed the balance requirements. I've removed nearly 15 trees even though I know there weren't too many to begin with, and it got fixed. It still could be seen as a bug (instead of a change in balance requirements) since only a few experienced this (the count I know is 2, including me).

I haven't heard of this yet, but I've never had a perfect town anyway, maybe the standards for getting a perfect town are different.

Pretty sure any items on the ground count as trash, so that might be inhibiting your ability to get a Perfect Town status. It was that way before the update.

You can still have items on the ground and get a perfect town, but it can't be over 10 items. (Unless the update changed that)

The beautiful town ordinance does not stop weeds from growing, but it makes less weeds grow and you can still get a perfect town with weeds, but you can't have over 10. (Unless the update changed that)

Im having a similar problem, ive had perfect town before but recently isabelle has been saying that theres weeds and trash, i have nothing on the ground other that some fruits but that doesnt effect it, im not sure whats wrong
