Post your skin regiments!

I'll start:

First, I am an acne-prone 17-year old teenager.

I do the following every morning and night.

1) Use neutrogena acne cleanser
2) Apply adapalene gel on affected areas.
3) Apply oil-free moisturizer after 10 minutes

I also put on eye cream, but I heard that this was only for "older people"... I don't know why because it works great for me...

omg thank you for this thread

i'm a 14 year old very acne prone teenager although last week was the first week ever i survived without a single "active" pimple on my face for like two years i'm so proud no one understands me

1) i used to use nivea daily essentials 2 in 1 wash and scrub (for oily skin) but right now i have to use daily clearasil cleanser since i ran out of my nivea and needed to buy a cheap one asap
2) if i feel like it i'll use whatever toner i have (currently using nivea daily essentials toner)
3) apply 5% benzac to pimples (my skin is starting to become immune to it unfortunatley)
4) apply a neutrogena oil free moisturiser with spf 15

i'm saving up for some aēsop since a store opened in my city, if it works i'll use it sparingly since aēsop is soooo expensive!

edit: i'm really dumb the aēsop store has always been there i just never noticed it and when i was going to t2 they were reconstructing aēsop

I don't have acne, but I have a routine to look after my skin. :)

Daily skin routine:

1.) I wash my face first in the morning, and use a face scrub (which one I use depends on how much money I have at the time ~ most of them work great for me though).

2.) Then I use a skin cleanser afterwards.

3.) In the evening, I use make-up remover with vitamin E.

4.) Then I use this really great homemade face mask (I'll put a recipe at the end of the post).

5.) After all that, I use moisturizing cream to lock in all the moisture, and then go to sleep.

Here's the recipe for the homemade chocolate face mask I use. It works great, but also spells super nice. Although I don't have acne, it also works to help with it.
1.) Take a tablespoon of cocoa powder and put it in some kind of container/bowl.

2.) Add a tablespoon of honey and mix that in with it. Organic honey works best because it doesn't have all the added materials in it.

3.) Next, add a tablespoon of natural yogurt and mix that in. You should get a thick-ish result.

4.) Tie all hair back if you need to, and then spread an even layer all over your face. Leave it for about 20-40 minutes, then wash it off with warm water.

i'm 15 and i have naturally oily skin and it's really annoying because i get spots often.
i dont even know if my method is working, but it seems to be keeping more spots away than what i usually get
i wash my face with cool water in the morning and let that dry while i brush my teeth, tie up my hair, etc
then i apply a thin layer of anti-septic cream (sudocrem is my bae)
then when ive rubbed that in, i go over it with aloe vera after-sun which i got from poundland lmao
occasionally i use vitamin c face scrub stuff but it shouldn't be used more than twice a week, so..

I don't really do anything *shrug*
Just wash my face with cold water like two or three times a day (I started that for some reason when I was a child and it has become some kind of habit) and use moisturiser and/or peeling every time I remember that I could use it, so once or twice every month I guess.
I have pretty good/clean skin though without acne or anything.

Maybe I should do more? uwu

Use natural products like lemon , or banana and honey to take dead skin , I don't go wasting expensive products for my skins as they never work , natural products are the best!

Thanks for sharing the recipe! Gonna try it once I get the proper ingredients, I'm sure it works after the compliments you received in the IRL picture thread haha

Awesome regiment, my stores doesn't sell oil free moisturizer with sun screen :(

I remove my makeup with makeup wipes and in my morning and night showers i use Cetaphil... thats all and I have hardly any

Nothing
If I've worn make up that day I'll take it off with wipes or some crappy cheap cleanser if I'm bothered, other times I don't even take my make up off oops
I'm so lazy when it comes to skin and I really take the fact that I've always had perfect skin for granted lol I'm really freckled though and I have heard that people who have loads of freckles have clearer skin? Idk about that though
I guess it's just good genes because none of my siblings ever had skin problems either

mine is usually to put a whole tube of foundation on and then forget to wash it off

I'm an 18 year old woman, half Asian half Caucasian, with acne prone skin. I have combination type skin (normal skin areas with oily areas such as T zone).

The morning I use:
- neutrogina grapefruit skin wash (to wash well my skin & to feel clean, need a fresh start!)
- I wear some "foundation" -> clinique's anti-blemish on my acne scars and acne (more coverage) & clinique's even better on places with "light" scars (less coverage areas). I only apply the foundation where I need it to be (don't need to out it all over my face as the shade is really my skin tone and the clinique's guy told me not to otherwise it's a waste of product). People say that when you have acne, foundation is a no no, but this treats acne and it really works. I also got less acne scars thanks to this. My skin is getting better. However, I'd like to nite that I only wear those when I go out and meet people I know. Like if I'm in vacation in a foreign country or whatever, I go make up free. I also put maybelline's bb cream if I have no acne at all. (Which happens from time to time, but those nasty acne always come back)
I have had acne for the last 7 years (sob sob) and I have managed to kick out the new acne, but new ones always grow back!
If I had no acne or scars, I probably wouldn't wear any make up or maybe just some bb cream .

At night/evening, when I am back home:
- I use a makeup remover if I have make up.
- I wash my face with 4 different face wash - for acne of course - (a product by a dermatologist that is blue, an Asian face wash that also brightens my skin tone - actually doesn't brighten but whatever- , a product that will avoid new break out - I don't have anymore white heads yay-, and an anti black head - kinda works, still have slight black heads)
- I use 2/3 toners : Nivea normal toner (removes any residue of make up) body shop tea tree toner, kiehl's blue astringent (amaziiiiing I feel like my face is tightened!)
- a cream that hydrates my skin if there is any dry spots.
- lip balm (chapsticks still rocks)
- kiehl's under eye cream (hydrates my under eye area)

Urm. I also use other products, but from time to time, other kiehl's products (such a good brand <:)

It works pretty well, I managed to keep my skin looking good and all. Some people might think I am using a loooot of products, but that's the best way for me to get a perfect skin.
