Perfect fruit

I was wondering, is perfect fruit in New Horizons? I've read that the game does have perfect fruit, but i've also read that it doesn't. Does anyone know for sure whether or not there is perfect fruit?

There's currently no Perfect Fruit in NH like in NL. The only fruits in the game are the 5 island fruits in their standard varieties and Coconuts.

I haven't seen/heard of any so I'm assuming not.

There's always a chance they'll be added in a future update, though!

Honestly, I'd be willing to bet they'll be added at some point. Who knows? They could even be part of the second summer update!

fruit seems like more of a spring thing and that kind of scares me
will we have to wait an entire year for perfect fruit??

I mean, we could... but we'd also be getting a lot of other undoubtedly neat updates in the meantime!

But I could also totally see it as a summer thing!

It's basically just fruit that looks nicer, is rarer and sells for more! it would probably be super tasty too lol

I haven't heard anything about a farming update but it'd fit in perfectly with that!!!

I loved giving perfect fruit to villagers in NL! They always looked so shocked and happy when they received perfect fruit.

They took out so many fruits in this game. They wiped out lemons, durians, mangoes, etc. To be honest, I kinda wish they kept them in the game alongside the perfect fruit, especially since they go really well with an island theme.

That sounds amazing!!! I hope it is true and if so, I would venture to guess perfect fruit could very well be making a comeback as well!

im definitely very curious how they implement it and personally id LOVE a similar stardew-like system. I've sunk hours and hours into that game and the system would fit so well in animal crossing

There aren't any, but if there was, it would be great, because I liked being able to use the leafless trees as town decoration.
