Perfect fruit?

Its been a few days since ACNH came out and I've yet to see any perfect fruit so I'm wondering if it's still something that's in game or is it unlocked through more progression?

Oh that's a bit disappointing. I went out of my way to reset for peaches since I wanted something that wasn't apples for once

You will get perfect fruit, but you have to keep harvesting. Eventually, some will start showing up.

Considering perfect fruit was a new addition added in New Leaf, I'm not missing it too much. In New Leaf, I rarely used it because

1. It doesn't continue to grow back.
2. It strips your trees bare of leaves.

I'm afraid I don't. I read it a few days ago and I didn't make note of where I saw it. I do know it wasn't a "fly-by-night" site.

some people said on the Discord that perfect fruit aren't a thing in NH.

I think if they were a thing we'd defo have seen it mentioned more + screenshots around the place.

I suppose at this point it's unconfirmed >.< No one has really come forward to say they found any in their own towns yet. It may be a feature added at a later date, or it may indeed simply not be something that's in this game

I planted an orange in a glowing spot for an expirament yesterday. I mostly think that perfect fruit aren't in the game, but a tiny part of me wanted to make sure.
