Today when I was shaking the fruit down from my perfect orange tree, all the leaves fell off and now I have a dead looking tree trunk. Why is this? Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
Perfect Trees are temporary and it's literally impossible to prevent them from dying.
You have to replant them using their own fruit so it's best to never get rid of all of them. Always keep at least 1 Perfect Fruit on you to replace the one that will eventually die.
I only harvest my trees when giving other people peaches to plant, and if my villagers wants a fruit lol.
I get all my money from the island and turnips.
I am thinking about making a little perfect peach farm though.
I have been harvesting them like crazy once I found out they go for 3k each in another town who's native fruit isn't that of which you're selling. I guess I either need to stop or make a farm as well.
