So, I was thinking, why don't I replace all my trees with perfect peaches?
I don't really need all the other trees.
But, I could make a small orchard of other fruit just in case my villagers ask.
Is this a good idea?
I could also get a lot of money out of this.
I just want to make sure there isn't an insane glitch or something. :p

I heard that if you want to have one perfect fruit tree in your town, that you MUST have a regular fruit tree in your town as well. I don't know, I think I got that from a video, so I'm not sure. (So if you want a perfect peach tree, you'll need to keep a regular peach tree as well) I think it's to avoid getting perfect fruit from friends and not growing them yourself.

Honestly if that's true, I'd rather have orchards because some of the perfect fruits look expired, lol.

sure, why not? the small orchard of other fruits would be important for villager requests but i'm fairly certain there is no glitch. i think there have been people doing this already.

just be careful when replanting when you have dead trees. some trees won't grow when boxed in an area so maybe don't shake down those perfect trees in the center parts.

I think it is a good idea perfect peaches are cute. I myself have a ton of perfect and regular orange trees in my town and a small orchid of all the other fruits ^.^

I actually thought you couldn't grow non-native fruit as perfect fruit? Like if my native was Peaches, I couldn't grow Perfect apples, only perfect peaches >.<

But if you wanna replace your trees, go ahead c: Perfect Peaches are the nicest looking perfect fruit IMO.
Oh!! And, sometimes after a lot of shaking the trees die, so make sure you don't sell or giveaway all the fruit!

You're right, you can only grow your native fruit as a perfect fruit. So if you were to plant a Perfect Orange, it would grow as a regular orange tree.

It'd be a lot of work to have an entire town of perfect fruit. Every so often the trees would die. You'd have to harvest the rotten fruit, cut down the dead trees and then replant them every 4-7 cycles of fruit that you harvested. Edit: This is of course if you're in it for the bells. If you never harvest the fruit it won't matter. I'm currently trying to get all of the trees in my town to "die" and it's a lot more work than I anticipated :s

It's not true ^^ You can grow as many perfect fruit trees as you want. (Heck, you could have a town full of them :D Of course, ACNL has a tree limit and all that stuff.) Only the type of native fruit you have can be perfect.

I've visited dream towns that're like this. Go for it, it's not going to do anything to harm your town, unless you don't replace them when they die. That's a pretty obvious thing to remember though.
Make sure to keep at least one regular fruit tree in your town though, otherwise they don't grow.

What I do is line my train tracks with one tree of each fruit that you can get in the game including the non perfect one from your town then I make groves of perfect ones in my town for selling. Its a great way to decorate the train track area. I didn't realize you had to have a non perfect tree so that your perfect trees would grow.
