like how?
it's really cute but seriously how???

They were hacked into the game and can cause issues to the game. It's not real, they just added those items as fruits in the game file.

lol i thought they might have buried them in the gold spot 😂
tbh it's really cute but if it causes issues then it doesn't look like something worth hacking the game for

ok but can we talk about how pretty and magical they look?? nintendo pls
ikr they should definately add this in an update ☆

As @Romaki mentioned, they're hacked. No idea if or how Nintendo could possibly clamp down on hacked items in the future. I hope there aren't repercussions or consequences for those who paid for them. It's also quite disgusting to see the prices for these trees... a lot of people buying them online for real money, etc.

For me personally they're definitely not worth whatever possible risk that could exist for having them.

They're money trees hacked to have star frags in place of the bell bags. They also exist with other items, but star fragment ones are the most popular.

It's possible future patches will introduce code to make them impossible.

I agree that they're really cute. I would love to have them for real in the game. I think it'd actually make an amazing event, where we could plant 'special' trees every so often. >>

i would have thought people paid a lot of nmt for them but real money???
gosh imagine spending actual money on something that could corrupt your game

They don't currently pose any issues, but with the steam greenlight nature of the game who knows if it will in the future, I highly doubt there'll ever be any issues though, but I don't plan on getting my hands on any either.

Actually if you shake them, they can cause serious issues.
AbdallahSmash recently made a video about the "hacked trees" (you can basically put any items up on the trees including furniture, fish bait, flowers, etc.), and when you shake them, the items drop down and can't be moved or interacted with at all. They are permanently just stuck there.
I'd definitely proceed with caution unless someone wants to end up with a buggy game.

yikes i'm glad i don't have them now
i'm always accidently shaking trees lol

They're hacked unfortunately, but it would be nice to have that as an in-game feature like burying bells.

This reminds me of in NL when some hackers managed to put a texture hack on perfect fruit trees.
Pretty, but I can't imagine why people would pay real money for something that has the possibility of damaging your save file.
