Peculiar...

When starting from turn-on and after going through Isabelle's morning routine, the first villager I meet is Whitney (next door neighbor) I stop to chat and my dialog includes "how about this". Huh? I had nothing for her and her last request was for any dragonfly two days ago (never found one, raining). I went on with my morning fossil, etc hunt and approached her later and my dialog was "you wanna eat this?...I had no fruit on me and she hadn't asked for anything. Can't blame Halloween since that ville is at 30 June. Anyone else seen this? Screwy.

I had nothing to give. Just walked away both times. A couple of hours later, after powering down and restarting, the oddity was gone and did not return. I guess it was a one-time gremlin.
