Pearl from Oyster Bay. Finally...

Well, my idea of a frog town went through many incarnations this week. Ultimately, it became the beautiful seaside town of Oyster Bay. Our (reluctant) Mayor Pearl, formerly Captain Pearl of the pirate ship, The Tempest, was violently knocked overboard by some stupid, drunken seagull. When he awoke, he found himself on board a strange train with a mysterious traveler who called himself Rover. By some inexplicable twist of fate, Pearl has found himself the new mayor of a town filled with talking animals! Will he stay? Will he be thrilled when he discovers GOLD comes out of rocks? Will his assistant drive him insane with her refusal to place public work projects? And what of the drunken seagull? Will he make a reappearance in Captain Pearl's life? Stay tuned...

Are you going to try and get any Octopi villagers for Oyster Bay?

That is a great idea. I have Zucker in another town and Octavian in one as well. They are pretty settled in those towns though and I would hate to move them. But right now, I am mostly focused on gators, elephants and hippos. Why? They are just so darned cute!

Most of my towns have official names (that fit within the eight limit parameters) and their longer unofficial names like Oyster Bay, Island of Misfit Toys, Big Bear Village and Cocoplum Falls.

Those are all African Animals minus the alligators.
I suppose you could call them Crocodiles for the sake of the town theme, even though they're classified as gators.

But I like the idea of having a few Octopi at Oyster Bay.
It would be cute!

I kind of want to do a town theme that would have all frogs or maybe all gators and have the dream address during a thunderstorm too.
But I need another copy of the game first haha.
