in certain cases if a bid is just at a point where it's reasonably high then i'll just close off that villager from being bid on, that or the villager is being used in a trade. in this case though the bid was just high and the bidder was concerned so i made the call to just have his bid be the buyout since it was already a lot higher than i'd anticipated!
(atm most villagers would prob close out at the same price assuming they're higher tiered since i'm not against underselling them a bit)
