I haven't used pokemon where I'm not the OT for a long time, but from what I remember there's a chance of them doing what you tell them, or "loafing around", or using a different move entirely. You will need the first gym badge to control traded pokemon over level 10; the second gym badge for traded pokemon over level 30. If you're getting giant lv60+ monsters I don't suppose the disobedience will matter because nothing in the early game is going to kill a lv97 Slowking lol

Anyway, I've picked out six if you're still interested.

I think, depending on the badges, on certain levels Pokemon won't listen to you. :/
(Ex: Example badge lets you control traded Pokemon over Lv. 40)

How do you trade? @.@ stupid question, I know. ;-; but in the past games I only traded through local DS to DS never over wireless.

They may not obey you. Look at this: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Obedience
If you don't have a badge yet, you could possibly need a good level 20 pokemon to get your first badge.

Trading is easy, add the FC as normal, go into your Pokemon game, hit R until your bottom screen shows Pokemon Search System, click the blue icon to connect to internet. Once you've done that you'll see any online friends on the top screen, click their icons and proceed from there.


edit: I'm on now if you want to try it out with me. My 3dsLL code is 1821 9760 8276. I'm going to add your FC and hopefully when you get online with the 3DS my character (VF*) will show up on PSS.

To trade go to your bottom screen and click the blue button to connact to the internet if you aren't already then click the Trade icon and click the option that says "Trade with Someone Far Away" then choose the person you want to trade with and wait till they accept your request. Since you played Pearl everything should seem familiar. Everything should seem self explanatory

Most of these guys have come off Miracle Trade as random trades; I clean the EVs off then train them up. I guess they're kinda "rescue pokemon" lol
