path question

Lets say you put a path down with the island designer app, but you replace the custom design with other, will the path transfer over to a new design or stay the same?

It will show the new design if you change it. If you just swap spots, I think it stays the same.

If you are already using a custom path on your island floor then use another custom design to take the design slot then the new design will show up on your island floor as the previous is now deleted.

thanks for the answers guys <3 im currently laying out a halloween path similar to "the path" and if i ever decide to change it i dont want to go through the headache of putting down paths again because right now.. im not having a good time lol

I'm doing what you're doing now as well, it swaps it out so you can cycle through different variations of the path which is cool

I changed my path for Halloween too! I just swapped it out with my original path design and it updated everything without having to lay new paths. I think things are only taken away if you change a custom design mannequin, canvas, or painting. That was super useful for moving rocks!!

placing the path is super hard and confusing so i only want to have to do it once lol
