Path or no path

I finally had starting to see how I want my town to be, also I try laying paths down to cover up the route as running on the grass make me worry they might be wear out so cover with paths will at least make me less tension (although I knew it will still wear but I won't see it)

However I am stuck between this mix feeling. I want to know what most people choices are as in do you prefer a path-cover town or do you prefer a natural town? I really hope to see now natural town is cause most of the towns I visit via dream will be full of paths. So if you re going on natural town please feel free to share your dream code so I can have a references and inspiration from there^^

We're talking a pattern design path, right?

I haven't even started doing mine, but when I get to it I want to have all my paths be made using flowers and other plants. If that counts as a "path" in the sense you're thinking of.

Yes yes those path pattern^^ usually I only have it surrounding buildings and houses but I feel the rest of the place is empty and I don't want pwps hanging there with nothing around. Full of just hybrids make me really worry to run around too haha. If somebody suggesting natural town I really would want to see how it look like.

Her town feels very natural to me, although it looks quite arranged with all the villagers living in the southern part.

My town has paths and I love it c: I have them lined with flowers that match the colors, which is still a work in progress, but overall, my town is starting to look really cute! I think that the paths really help complete my town. At first, it seemed kinda empty, but once I added all the trees and flowers and PWPs, it's actually started looking like a real town and I'm really happy with how it's all turned out <3

Haha I went and visit town with totally no paths and is complete i believed. But I am lost and everywhere I run I tramples on the poor flowers! So nono I am supporting paths right now xDD

I don't use paths. I have a lot of trees. I let my villagers move where they want. I like the natural feel. Removed a number of pwp after I got the golden can and have two more to remove. I know my idea of a perfect town isn't the same as most but I LOVE my town.

I have only just made a few paths, but not throughout most of the town. I wanted it to look natural - like a forest - but with paths connecting the "big" buildings. So the path goes from my Train Station to town centre (with the tree), to Retail, and to the Town Hall. It continues to my home but no other homes or buildings.

I think both styles are good! I think it depends the most on what kind of town you want to make and what sort of feeling you want it to have.

I have some path that leads to villagers house, cafe etc .. other than that its all cover with flowers and trees.
Trying to figure where would be a good place to put a pond now ...

My town is about half/half. I'm currently building paths between villagers houses and buildings, but I'll leave the rest natural. I have a lot of trees and flowers and don't want it to look too organized.

I love natural looking towns and I might revert to a more natural town later... but for now I just lay out paths. I never did it in any other games and since New Leaf is super customizable I just went for it. I've seen some pretty beautiful natural towns though.

I really hate path laying. I tried it and I didn't last 3 tiles. I'm working up the patience to go through with it, but uuughhhh...

Paths are so beautiful though! ; A; whenever I see them I just want them in my town so badly, but at the same I can't see myself ever bothering to do it.

Now I'm deciding whether or not to let it be natural. I'm actually hoarding lots of bushes to make paths with. I at least have the patience to wait for the bushes to grow.

But still, towns with paths are wonderful.

So I'm stuck between. :C

I love my town so much now, although it is half complete but I keep went in the game, walk around the paths and enjoy the beauty of it~~ I love natural looking path but not without path at all =) cause I planting flowers around houses and dislike when villagers plant or they grow more =3=

There is one guide that said you plant your trees/bushes as the side fences and keep walking to trample your grass then it will form natural dirt path in like 1 month time! Look good!! But beware grass will grow again after you stop trashing it and...there goes your effort lol~

I have paths right now but I'm thinking of just running through them and making the dirt path? (idk if that makes sense)
