Do you think path borders are worth it? I'm struggling on deciding whether to keep mine or remove them. My paths are 2x2 so I don't get the satisfying noise when you walk. I also keep accidentally erasing them and it's annoying to put back. They do look cute though but weird in some places that I haven't been able to fix... I'd also have room for other cuter QR codes if I get rid of the path borders.
What's your guy's opinion? Do you think it makes islands look nicer?
I love path borders! You get the quality image/texture of the path, but also get the detail and customization of custom paths. It's the best of both worlds! The sound is kind of weird, but the path I have is glazed terracotta so I makes sense I guess...
All about pros & cons really. To begin with, borders look beautiful & can both customize & tie a path together. I love it when other islands have them but I think not for me personally. ..The sound of them is different from the default paths & there is the issue of replacing them when accidentally erasing. I went through the trouble of erasing a whole town's worth of pattern borders... never again. Would be nice to have a bulk pattern delete option.

Here's an example of mine...
Yeah, they're just overlapping with the regular terracotta bricks. The creator code is MA-7011-8313-9106. The creator also made some for bricks and stone, I believe.
Ugh, I would have borders on EVERY PATH if I had enough design slots. I had to give up on all my borders when I realized the design slots were the same for all characters and I would only have 50
on my island there are two main paths that I use- the dirt path and the small stone path (I forget what its called but its not the regular stone path but its the other one). for those I do not use any borders BUT I use the terra-cotta path as "plazas" (I have a large terra-cotta rectangle outside of ables with a bench on it and a sign, also have a pool area with the terra-cotta path underneath, etc) and for these "plaza" areas I do use a boarder! it really elevates the area and looks so nice!
