i have 3 hard core hacker friends on this game and they warned me of amateurs who will run thru your furnitures, fly etc i don't like that

i play this game honestly

i don't use dup items in any of my houses
no dup bells either
i farm white turnips alot

2 of my hacker friends created a town and a character who does not have any hack items, bells it's really nice of them to do that

so i guess the answer is yes i do allow hackers in my town but they can't bring hack items with them, no lightsabers etc...and earn my trust
