For $10 is this WiiU game worth it? Is it so boring or fast or ugly or too easy to give it my attention? I dont mind picking up weird titles for my Wii U as long as they're not just so bad you regret it but no one ever talked about this game ever and the reviews are mixed but whats your opinion?

DO NOT BUY PAC-MAN AND THE GHOSTLY ADVENTURES!!! I strongly advise AGAINST buying it! And this is coming from a huge Pac-Man fan who's played the original Pac-Man, Pac-Man Championship Edition, Pac-Man World 1 - 3, and even some of the Pac-Man spin-off games (like Pac-Man Rally). I bought Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures for $20 at Walmart back in August, and I wish I never did. The gameplay is incredibly boring and redundant. All you ever really do is run, jump, collect some dots, and keep going. Sure, there are some power-ups and enemies along the way, but the combat is easy and just gets very repetitive to play over time. One of my biggest problems with this game: the art style and character designs. They are SO BAD!!! I remember when Pac-Man World 1 - 3's characters were all YELLOW and looked like actual people that would live in a Pac-Man universe. Now, there are people of all different colors, and some have weird bodies and long or short legs. Their faces also look very weird, which bring me to my next point in character design. PAC-MAN LOOKS LIKE CRAP IN THIS GAME!!! Pac-Man looks really cool in Pac-Man World 1 - 3 and Smash 4, but in Ghostly Adventures, his model looks terrible! The ghosts also look so much worse than their previous models! And why is Clyde so huge!? The art style in general is meant to look like a futuristic world, but everything looks very bland and dull. The dialogue and storyline is absolutely terrible, too. First of all, why is Pac-Man in a high school!? Why is there even a bully that tries to intimidate Pac-Man? AND WHY IS HE FRIENDS WITH BLINKY, PINKY, INKY, AND CLYDE!?

Please, for your own sake, do NOT buy it! I remember when I was actually excited for it when it was first announced while others were sort of "meh" on it. I was waiting for its release, and after it released, I heard and read all of the bad reviews about it. Even after reading/hearing them, I thought "I'm sure it's still a good game. The trailers of it don't look bad." Even before I got it, when they announced Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2, I though "Great! I'll get that game, too!" Now I WISH I listened to those reviews! I played it for about two hours and just couldn't stand playing it anymore! I'm also definitely not going to waste my money again on Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2! Save your money to buy a better game, or go buy an eShop card or something. Or an amiibo figure. Or ANYTHING ELSE! Just NOT Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures!

Actually, if you want a sort-of-new Pac-Man game, i'd recommend Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions on the 3DS. On Amazon, it's $12.64, so it's not much more expensive than Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It's a very underrated 3DS game that I loved. It has the classic Pac-Man and Galaga games, the newer versions of Pac-Man and Galaga (Pac-Man Championship Edition and Galaga Legions), and the brand-new Pac-Man and Galaga games (Pac-Man Tilt and Galaga 3D Impact). I actually enjoyed these newer versions of Pac-Man and Galaga as well as the other games available. It was a very fun game, in my opinion, so I definitely recommend it, especially at around $13.

Well, it's a game based on a show of the same name, which of course will feature materials from there. Don't set your expectations high for this game, as I consider it as an average game. While it isn't inherently bad, some detractors such as Pac-Man's cringe-worthy childish voice acting, the fact that it plays too safe and the extremely easy overall difficulty might potentially drive you away from this game. If you're hankering for some more PS1 Spyro platformings, then Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures might fit your bill. Of course, there are better games around the same price as this one.

Oh, I read all of what you guys said and that's disappointing. Another game tied into a show that didn't work. It just doesn't get bashed as much as Sonic. Maybe I'll look into that 3DS game you mentioned up there. Ive seen that around and it looks nice.
