Overused town names?

To me, the most overused town name is Hyrule.

Lots of LoZ fans also play animal crossing I guess.

So what town names have you seen been overused?

I've seen Asgard or Asgardia quite a bit. I've also run into at least 5 or 6 Astoria's.

I forgot a dream code and I just searched that town name and there were like 15+ towns named that
I hate when I go to the wrong towns. Some people actually copy mayor names and town names

Random Japanese words like yuki, sakura, sushi etc etc

Narnia, ahaha. I find people using that a lot, though I love the books and movies.

Definitely Hyrule. God I've seen a ton of those. I've also seen a lot of Gensokyo's (Touhou fans), too many Rosewood's, a bunch of Lilac's, Astoria, Forest, freakin' ANIME, who names their town Anime? Come on guys.

Pallet or Palette. I've seen the former used because of Pokemon, and the latter used because of the Chuggaaconroy LP on Youtube.

Hyrule, New York, London. Those are three I feel I see a lot. No offense to anyone who uses those names, though, I've seen some lovely towns with those names

Pokemon themed town names, like Pallet, Lavender, Cianwood, ect. Also I've seen a TON of towns called Kingdom with King/Queen as the mayor. Most natural themed towns seem to go with ----wood as the name.


I'll admit I've seen my town name used a bit as well, but never themed right, heh.

Basic names that you always see on 'What should I name my town' threads.
I don't know what made me pick Abstract but I guess it was the thought that I knew my town is never gonna be completely perfect.
Then I thought out my second towns name, Oashisu, which I think means sea or ocean in japanese~ ♥

I named mine melody, hoping it would spell the same as "Meldi" from wind waker.

The town name "Awesome" or (Playername)Town, usually used by idiotic little kids who do NOTHING BUT BEG FOR BELLS AND STEAL YOUR FLOWERS.
