Over/Underrated Villagers

I had Rosie in my campsite several months ago and said to myself "she's popular, she can stay" I don't see the fuss. She was nice at first but has become a little annoying. It's not her personality, I don't know what it is, I'm just done with her. I'm not a cat person. Who do you think are overrated villagers? I love Gayle. I think everything about her is precious. Who's underrated to you? No bashing for loving or hating any villagers here, I'm just curious. My main last dreamie is Olaf. I've made him an Able's full of Michael Jackson outfits just waiting for him to arrive.

Personally, I am not a fan of the octopi.
I never really have been, don't think I ever will be.
One of my favorite villagers happens to be a T5, and that is Sparro. It was hard for me to find a jock I like, but I have fallen in love with this bird

I can agree with that too, I think Marina is okay if I had to pick one, but I don't like the way they move, and anatomically, that's not where their mouth should be.

I had Marshal in my town as a random move in and I really didn't like how sulky he looked so he quickly got voided. I remember also seeing Merengue at my campsite before I ever joined TBT and thought she was very strange. It was like someone threw a pie at her face. Didn't ask her to stay.

I have a lot of low tier villagers in my town that are my absolute favourites. Melba, Lionel, Purrl and Dizzy are all tier 5 and Merry is tier 4. They're all underrated in my opinion.

My underrated dreamies are Yuka, Aurora and Roald, last two are at the bottom of tier 4 though

rosie is definitely overrated . she's so boring to look at and i got frustrated w her very quickly. same with merry, i loved her but now i just want her to leave... also bc her house is rigHT IN FRONT OF MINE. . .

julian is also overrated, i heard he's t2 now but when i used to use this everyone was obsessed w him . i think he's scary looking... same with marshal, he's so boring and awkward looking. i much prefer agent s and peanut in terms of the species!!

Roscoe and Chadder for sure.

Roscoe is one of the best crankies, and Chadder. Well, he's a charming mouse made of cheese. His house looks pretty cool and he moved in a really nice place in my town.

Well, I thought Julian was overrated as well, but I once saw him in a Dream Town, and he wasn't half bad. Then he came into my campsite so I invited him in, just to give away later. But I never did XD I grew attached to him, with his clumsy, flirty behavior. And at first I thought his eyes were creepy, but I came to find them adorable later.

And I also got Marshal in my last town through campsite, and I loved him to bits and pieces. In my new town I was able to get him as a camper as well, but somehow, this time around, this lil squirrel is annoying me more and more XD I don't know why.

It could definitely just be the design for people to make judgement, but from what I've read, especially with underrated villagers, they are mostly highly valued by their 'owners' because of the interactions they have and the click together.

Each personality have similar behavior, but sometimes it's just the timing that can make your click or mismatch with your villager.

The most underrated villagers, at least for me, have to be Coach and Poncho. While I'm not a big fan of the jock personality type, they do seem to be the best out of all of them, (looking at YOU, Flip). I especially like Poncho the best, since he always wanted to talk to me in City Folk.

Positive overrated: Rosie, Kid Cat, O'Hare, Gaston, Stitches, Marshal Chief, and a bunch of other wolves. I never really liked wolves except for Whitney. And she's overrated.

Negative overrated: Pietro and Rocket.

Marshal is cute, but my heart truly belongs to Peanut. :3

So many, but I would pick Bertha the big blue hippo. Easily the cutest of all the hippos and VERY sweet and loving.

Hell yeah. Coach is one of my original villagers in my first New Leaf town. I can't think of ever letting him go.

I fell in love with Ed the horse a while back. His lack of eye on one side used to make me think he was hideous, but once I looked past that I found him to be really sweet. He even gave me a freaking moon! Man, screw Julian and his freaky eyes.

Oh yeah, and Carmen has always been my favorite villager, I'm surprised she isn't a lot more popular. I think she's adorable and in addition to that her house is on point.

I feel like Yuka and Sydney are really underrated. They aren't my dreamies or anything, but i've had them both in my town and loved them both, and when i checked the forum to see what they were worth they were both t5... they're cute and sweet, you'd think they were at least tier 4 :c

I think Beau and Marshal are pretty overrated, honestly. Beau because there are better options, Marshal because I guess I will just never understand his popularity. I mean I GET it. I know the reasons. I just don't...UNDERSTAND it.
But really, I don't think he's all that and the bag of chips people say he is. Maybe I'm just damaged though~

As for my daily Lucha sound-off, he's pretty underrated. He's a really cool dude! And he's got a funny thing going on with the mask and all. He's just...cool!
Puck too. I mean cmon hockey penguin! Who is LAZY. And a PENGUIN. Penguins are AWESOME...

LOL Ed was in my first town and I really really liked him. I actually considered trying to re-acquire him, but some others captured my heart. He'll definitely be a thing if I ever get a second town though.

I actually considered Carmen for my 10th slot, but she got outdone by Bunnie. Carmen really stands out though. She's another I would totally reconsider for a future town~

Bill is underrated he's my all time fav and he's t5?? i don't understand why, he's so cute and friendly ;_; I also never understood why Stitches and Ankha were so popular tbh they're a little creepy imo

Have just concluded that Marina is super overrated, my cycling town just picked her up and her house actually hurts my eyes with all the pink. :<

I think that Marshal and Julian are completely overrated. I love me a good unicorn, but for me, Julian is not that. And Marshal is a Pouty McPouterson. No sulky babies allowed in my town.

Marcel, on the other hand, is ridiculously underrated. Ridiculously.
