That seems like a nice amount to me! I hadn't seen any estimates before reading your post. It's great they decided to add so much new stuff. The new pieces look great, too. A lot of the ones I've seen so far are already among my favorite furniture! I'm looking forward to discovering more of them. The new furniture is what I'm most excited about when it comes to this update!

I agree with the catalog thing, but I'm especially hoping for Custom New Leaf and the wiki to update (although I suppose I could start contributing to that myself).

I imagine they will affect the cataloging badges, though, since the size of the catalog probably isn't hard-coded for the badges. Would be sort of funny if Phineas came and took your badges, though.

I hope they are not all unorderable... The storeroom is nice, but it's kind of a wash if I have to use it for 300+ new unorderable items.

I don't know for sure, but probably. It seems like they added all of the new HHD items (minus the ceiling ones) plus more.

I mean, I'd hope they would be among 500 new items added. That would be wrong if they weren't! I hope you're right.

It's a shame they couldn't add ceiling objects, by the way. =(

Only reason I'm upset is because I have yet to find a new item that isn't orderable from the catalog except the HHD giant items you get if you link the games.

Maybe this will finally what makes me stop trying to horde everything but dang it i want all those food items
