Original shirts!!!

How do i get my villagers back into their original shirts??? i have multiple shirts of each one and walking around with them in my pockets and wearing one for a specific villager and nothing

A great way to get them to wear a certain shirt again is to mail it to them. There's also a risk of them simply displaying it in their home, but yeah to my knowledge this is the best way?

Yeah, what I’ve found works the best is to buy multiple copies of the same shirt and mail them all at once. Like honeyaura said, there is the chance they’ll display them in their home, which could be a problem if you care about keeping their homes original. However, if that isn’t an issue, mailing several copies almost always works for me, since odds are the villager will decide to not display at least ONE of them.
