You can TT to get mail faster.
When I don't want to wait I usually TT to a few minutes before 5pm and order my items and then wait or TT forward to get my items.

And if you're past 5pm and want to get items but not flip to a new day, you can order then TT to 4:59pm to get em delivered! Good to know for Gracie check days and such.
