Order of (first three) Move-Ins

Does anyone know in which order the first three plots get assigned to villagers?

I've now invited three animals from tour Islands, and would like to have an idea of which one will move into which number plot.

First I thought it would go in order of the invites, but when I put my first plot down yesterday it was bought by Zucker, my second invite.

If you don't have a clear answer but can tell me in which order yours moved in, we might be able to see a pattern!

In that order though house plot numbers were reverse (Derwin moved in first but was plot #3)

That's already five examples of lazy, peppy, normal—adding Zucker to that, I think it's likely enough that this is the order for everyone.

Anybody with contradicting order please come forward! :3

This seems to be the order of how it goes though idk why it goes by 2, 3, 1.

Hm, that complicates things a bit.
Had you placed plot #1 and #2 already or not? Or did you maybe finish furnishing plot #3 before the other two?

I definitely placed them all at once, and did the furnishings in order. Not sure why Derwin was first in 3, then Audie in 2 and finally today I got Norma in plot #1

Strange indeed. I suppose I'll take a chance in placing plot #2 and #3 and see where Lolly and Flora decide to move. My hope was that I could find out in advance and save myself the relocation fees later on...

Yep I also got the order of lazy (Deli), peppy (Audie), and normal (Peaches). I invited Audie first and was confused as to why Deli had taken the first plot instead of appearing on the second one.

Mine in the order they moved in:
#1 Lazy Beau - plot 1(invited)
#2 Normal Merengue - plot 3 (invited)
#3 Peppy Wendy - plot 2 (random)

1 Normal: Nan
2 Lazy: Drago
3 Peppy: Cookie

It was the order I invited them in and Cookie was random!

Two players/Islands here. Just like all(?) others, we started with Uchi & Jock. Then came Lazy, Peppy and Normal. Must be a reason for this. Also noted that we're not seeing ANY varmints on the random islands anymore. Peculiar!
