I first of all would like to thank you so much for doing this giveaway, this was so much fun! I've had a great time just hanging around here. I would love to win this giveaway because then me and my sister can play together. She really wants AS so I am hoping to get it for her through this giveaway. Also, this is her first Pok?mon game, as well as mine. My sister hasn't received any 3DS games in forever so this would make her day like 1000x better.
Once, again thank you so much!
Not entering (because I both have the game, and I'm not NA), but just came to say that you're being insanely generous!
I would like to enter! Please send my entries to The Hidden Owl.
Um, I have never played but I really like Squirtle.
Also for the last day bonus entries, If The Hidden Owl won I would be super happy for him and his sister.I know him irl so yeah. This is super generous of you knowing the game costs a lot of money. Thank you!
For the Bonus entry: I would like to win because I'm a fan of Ruby/Sapphire ever since it came out and I was really excited about the re-release!I also don't own any copies of the new games yet.
I lay in bed unconscious, waiting for my brain to finish its rest. The late night before resulted in me sleeping like a rock, inhaling and exhaling the only movements I made. My room was dark, the house stood still. Then, it started. Deep in the earth, the plates slipped. A little, almost non-existent movement below the ground occurred. Everything was still normal, most of the Bay area asleep, except for some. At that moment, the warning came, the short 10 second warning, not enough time to warn hardly anyone. Soon enough though everyone knew. An earthquake had begun.
A quick jolt woke nearly everyone up around the epicenter in American Canyon, California. The shaking continued for what seemed forever. Our house felt as if a giant picked it up and shook it side to side. I stayed in my bed, scared without anywhere to turn. Some people tried to stand up, only to find themselves on the floor or grabbing on to something to keep their balance, also, others were pummeled by books. As I took a mere glimpse around my room, I saw things falling and shaking as if there was a glow around the room. It sounded like a rockslide, rocks tumbling down and crashing to the ground. The shaking started to fade, then disappeared.
I lay in bed, totally clueless as to what happened or what I should do. I sat up staring at near blackness. I tried turning my lamp on, only to find that the power deceased. I grabbed my flashlight on my bedside table and looked around. Wow, I thought as I looked at the floor. I stood up shocked as the floor was covered with clothes, boxes, and books. My heart raced with excitement yet I stood there confused to what just transpired. I heard some footsteps down the hall as my dad asked me and my sisters if anyone had gotten hurt. My sister told him that we were just shook up. We all were physically fine, yet shook up didn’t quite fulfill our mental state. My mother called out to stay put because of the broken glass. I got back in my bed, listening to the commotion outside. I heard people talking, someone crying, and the worrying sound of sirens.
Ugh I hate writing so I just took some from a memoir paper I wrote not too long ago.. it's super cheesy but yeah.
Bonus; I'd like to win to give the game to my little brother because he wants it really badly.
For bonus entries!
I would like to win this giveaway because I want to give this game to a friend of mine. They have never played Pok?mon as a kid, or even as they grew older, and always said that they just never got around to it. I want to introduce them into the world of Pok?mon because I genuinely believe they would fall in love with it just as I did as a kid.
A short one-shot fanfiction I wrote about Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians:
There were days where Jack followed humans around.
Sometimes, it was because he was curious.
Sometimes, it was because of his guardian duties.
This time, it was for a reason he could not fully grasp.
He thought about asking the others about it, but decided against it.
He was afraid they would not understand.
So, he pondered what it could be on his own.
He was definitely curious.
It was not, however, part of his duties to watch this human.
After all, this person was not a child.
Standing on a rooftop, gripping his staff, he smiled to himself.
"Wind, you know where to take me."
The wind came and within moments, he flew.
He turned in the air, creating snowballs for the children below.
He laughed as he witnessed snow fights, and even participated in them a little.
Though, as he neared his true destination, he flew slower.
He sat on the same tree branch that he always sat on when he came here.
His expression became less mischievous as he waited in his spot.
Then, after a minute or two, the human appeared.
Jack's expression became pensive, excited, and full of awe, all at the same time.
He had never taken to a human so much before.
He watched them sit on their usual bench, and pull out their usual notebook.
The human wrote, and Jack observed.
A few minutes later, the person rubbed their hands together and shivered.
"You made today extra cold, Jack Frost."
He didn't know if she was serious when she said it, but a smile instantly came to him.
The way this human said his name was different.
The way they said it made him happy.
He made snowflakes, and blew them downwards.
He watched as the human beamed at them in delight.
On the inside, Jack wanted to make her happy.
He also desperately wished for her to truly believe.
These entries will be for myself. Why I would like to win...
I've always wanted to play Pokemon. When I was younger my brothers would play Pokemon video games and collect the Pokemon cards. I wanted to play the games with them but I was unable to. I was obsessed with The Legend of Zelda so I didn't get time to get into Pokemon while I was young. I feel pretty left out on the hype lol. I am an introvert and pretty shy in real life. I only have my boyfriend as my friend and he's the only one I talk to. I came back to The Bell Tree Forums a couple months ago and made some awesome friends like (usernames) Lockfancy, Ayaya, Stina, Javocado, NSFW, Zulehan, Maruchan and others. I'm so grateful to make friends on the forums that talk to me and I very much enjoy their company. If I won the game I'd give it to Ayaya because I know how much she wants the game and that would be a cool Christmas gift. I'm very excited to see you, Marina, hold this giveaway. This is such a kind and generous act, a lot of people are greedy on here and only think of themselves, so thank you so much for holding this giveaway. I am excited to see who wins
One more hour <3
spoopy scary storyyy
Fear overwhelmed my body as I felt my body be thrown to the cold ground. I could hear 3 other kids shuffling, obviously in the same bounds I was in. I tried to scream for my mom, but nothing would come out. I couldn't see, either it was too dark or I had a blindfold on. Where was I, Who I am, Who else is with me? My mind raced with a billion questions, only one could be answered. I am Oliva Popper. I couldn't remember past that point. Although, it doesn't really matter. I heard a boy scream, he had to be my age or younger. I heard a sickening /thump/ and almost like he was on a wall and slowly slid down. I heard the same thing two more times, only one of them got away. I heard the man holding us captive say a curse word I heard my dad say 50 times. He must've thought the young boy couldn't get to far, as I felt my body be picked up. The blindfold was removed and I saw the man. He was in his late 40s, short and fat, greasy black hair and brown eye hidden behind too-small glasses. I looked around, four costumes set up. The first two, a bunny and a bear, had blood coming from the head. The third one, a fox which I assumed was for the young boy who got away, was flopped over. The only one left was a chicken whos bib read "LET'S EAT" I felt the overweight man stabbed his fingers through my eyes. Pain was short, my world turned black.
Why do I want to win?
From the time I can remember, all of my happy childhood memories can take place with me playing pokemon with my uncle. He loved the hoenn-based game the most (which got me to love them.) However, pokemon Y was my first game I could read with (when my uncle moved, I poured my time into other things, such as animal crossing.) and play well. I'd love to play the game he loved the most <3
