He's leaving on July 2nd! Feel free to make offers if you think there will be a lot of demand for him, otherwise I'll just give him to whomever asks first.
He is 95% original (i.e. he's probably 100% original but I can't promise that).
I'm also a little bit new myself, but there is a post at the top of the Villager Trading Plaza forum that has all the villagers ranked by popularity. Cranston is technically Tier 5 (the lowest) so I wouldn't be shocked if nobody wanted to pay money at all. If nobody else shows up wanting Cranston, I'll give him to you for free! The whole bidding process is just a way to see who really wants him the most. Otherwise I don't think a Tier 5 would sell for more than 500k bells on a good day
Haha okay nice There's way more demand for him than I expected for a Tier 5 villager. For the record, my 3DS clock is one day ahead, so he's technically moving out on July 3rd in "game time", but July 2nd in "real time".
Ah, well, the thing is, while tiers 5 villagers are in theory less sought after, they're also much harder to come by? I mean look at the board, they're one to two posts daily about Marshall or Merengue, so while they go for insane prices they also pop up often. Lower tiers villagers on the other hand pop up very rarely (because people don't bother posting about 'em), so if anyone does want them, they know they won't be getting another chance anytime soon c:
(+Cranston is quite pretty, objectively speaking, while there's some tiers five like… Diva or something that appeal to pretty much no one's sense of aesthetic. So while he's a tiers 5, I'm not too surprised there more people who like him.)
So my bad, he moves out July 3rd in real time! Sorry!! Hope that doesn't complicate anything, having my 3DS clock 1 day ahead confuses me a lot and I should change it haha... I hope that's not a problem!!
Since I feel bad about getting the date wrong, I'm going to honor Ammoth winning and close the auction. (Unless of course s/he cannot pick up Cranston for some reason)
