Opinions on wolves?

I love Lobo and Skye. My least favorite wolf villager is definitely Wolf Link.

same... honestly none of the character-themed amiibo villagers (wolf link, ganon, epona, the squid sisters, etc) have never really appealed to me ;^; they always seem kinda out of place amongst other villagers...

I love all of them, especially Chiefie boi, but I don?t like Lobo.

They?re the most consistently good-looking species imo. I don?t think there?s a wolf whose design I don?t like. I?d love to have them all but too many of them are snooty and cranky so it would get very repetitive.

I think their snouts are a bit too long and it looks funny when they're excited and open their mouth... >v<
So, yes, I'm not really a fan of the wolf model. That said, I've had a few wolves on pocket camp (never had one in new leaf) and my favorite design is probably Dobie

The wolves aren't my favorite species but I'd like them better if their personality types were more diverse.The wolves in ACNL are cranky,snooty,smug and normal......that's it.No peppy,lazy,jock or uchi.They even changed Dobie from lazy to cranky when they brought him back.I wouldn't mind having Vivian or Freya in my town,though(Freya was in my Gamecube town).

Wow, that's actually a REALLY good point I never even thought of. No wonder it felt like they're a bit less diverse... Hopefully they bring more personalities! It'd be cute to see a peppy wolf that gets overly excited or have an uchi one that yells at you lol

i haven't really had the chance to have many as villagers, though.
i think i had one of them at some point? but not since, anyway.

The only wolves I like are Fang (because I had him as one of my originals in WW) and the new amiibo W.Link (not because he looks particularly cute, but just because I adore Zelda and needed him in my game lol ᵔᴥᵔ) The others are pretty boring, and like someone else said their personalities are blah.

Chief’s house is decent though. It matches his fur color. But the interior look like a garage yet being a garage repairman is my headcanon for him so it just fits.

I had never had any wolves in my towns, so I didn't have anything to go by. I don't dislike them, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them in town (the same holds true for most villagers, since I like the randomness). That being said, I did invite W. Link into my town. I was also getting Epona, so the pair made sense, plus I wanted another smug (Beardo was the only one, up to that point). I like him, but I like him for the character, rather than his species, so not sure if that helps or hinders your choice.
