Opinions on sanrio characters?

Which sanrio characters do you hate,answer which ones for you love? My favourite sanrio villager is marty, and my least favourite is Rilla (surprise surprise) if you don't like any of them please say!

Chelsea is my favorite and Rilla is my least liked. I have a new appreciation for the gorillas but I’m afraid Rilla and Violet will never be welcomed in any of my towns.

I don't really have a preference for any of them, to be honest. I mined them all for items in the campground, but that was enough. If I had to choose least favorite, it would probably be Rilla, simply because I don't like gorilla villagers at all.

tbh?? i'd gladly have any of them besides rilla just because i'm not a fan of gorilla villagers.

I think they all look fine, but I probably like Rilla the least. It's strange to me that they chose to make the sanrio characters into random animals that look like they're cosplaying as the characters instead of their corresponding animal. I understand that some of them don't have a corresponding animal, but I still think it's kind of silly that Hello Kitty is a gorilla instead of a cat.

Marty and Tobi are my favorites. Wished those special cards had more items to fill up a room.

i like all of them, but rilla's appearance kinda creeps me out. i'd say chelsea and toby are probably the #faves

i love ?toile to pieces. i paid a ridiculous amount for her card but i don’t regret it one bit. rilla is creepy and should have been a cat. the rest i’m indifferent to.

The only ting that I am a little confused with is why a gorilla for hello kitty I know its a cat but all of them are different but I would like a dog for hello kitty.

I've never had any interaction with them, not even in an RV, so I don't know for sure. But based off of their designs, I like Chai the most. The teacup on her head amuses me. Etoile is kinda cute too. Marty is just OK. He's pretty bland, but I don't hate him.

I really don't care for the designs of Chelsea, Toby, and Rilla. At all. Chelsea and Rilla are especially bad. If I were to make a list of ugliest villagers, I'd put them both there.

I will say though that the Sanrio items (clothes and furniture) are ALL really fantastic though. If these forums didn't exist, I probably would've bought the set of Sanrio amiibo just for those items.

lmao totally! Rilla was the only one I had in my town for a while because I wanted to see for myself why everyone hated her so much! But she was cool to me! Tbh I'm kinda glad nintendo/sanrio decided to go counter-culture and make the main HK character rep a gorilla design instead of something more plain like a dog or cat. I ended up replacing her with Boots, because I always wanted him back ever since my gc village, but Rilla's always welcome in my town if any of my other villagers move out naturally.

As for the other Sanrio characters, I love Etoile and Marty! I like Chai and Toby. Chelsea is ok, but a little too frilly for me.

I love them all! Rilla doesn't deserve all the hate. She's got a very unique, classically girly design and it's a shame people hate ape villagers on principal while every other frou-frou character is well-received.

While I do like all of them (yes, even Rilla), I don't want to have them in my town, at least not forever.
I had Chelsea and Toby once in one of my old towns and while they are cool and all, after a while, it
felt like they wouldn't really fit into my town anymore and they became kinda boring. But their items
are still great though.
